and the quality is good. The standard yield cartridges are nice This thing is a beast literally, it weighs in at close to 50 pounds, but the dimensions are compact. It is very fast, 33 ppm both color and black, and the quality is good. The standard yield cartridges are nice, rated at 3000 pages black and 1800 color, this is much more than previous printers I had. You can get higher yield cartridges afterwards, rated at 4,500 black and 4,000 color. It will print duplex, which can save you some paper. It set right up on my Mac... read more

Does One Thing, and Does It Well About two years ago I purchased a Brother all-in-one laser printer, to replace a failed inkjet printer of another brand. I was fed up with inkjets – I have had a series of them fail in spectacular fashion, and I wanted something more reliable. After I completed my research I settled on a Brother printer which has so far been an excellent investment. I was excited to try this Brother printer which is not an all-in-one but is a one-trick pony that does one thing – print – and it does it well. A... read more

Another great brother product. Fast, good quality prints, quiet and not too large. Brothers great support to boot. The 8360 is cheaper and has the better display, maybe that's a short term sale?

Great Small Office Color Printer: For Photo Printing Look at Inkjet This is the one of the several Brother printers that we have in our office. Previously I have used HP, Lexmark, Dell, Ricoh and Canon color printers. In my experience, Brother are the most reliable and trouble free printers. After about 4 - 5 years, they start giving you error messages like replace parts, replace drum etc. That is usually the time to replace the printer. This printer has everything a small business needs: speed at 33 ppm, automatic duplex, r... read more

good basic printer Overall this printer is pretty great. The actual printing of pages is really fast and good quality. However, once I hit print on my computer it seems to take a little bit of time for the printer to actually receive the job and print. I don’t know if this due to my computer or the printer but just wanted to put that out there. My internet in my house is pretty fast (100MBPS) so I don’t think that is the issue. Also the setup to get the printer on the Wi-Fi wasn’t the easiest but it wasn’t too terribly bad. ... read more

Awesome: great quality in a duplex color laser that interfaces with everything Very happy with the speed, print quality, network flexibility and energy consumption of this economical Brother HLL8260CDW color laser printer. It is replacing a 7 year old Brother MFC-9320CW which did not have duplex printing capability. We have had other Brother MFC duplexing monochrome laser units over the years as well. Setup was super easy. I chose to manually set up the connection to our Wifi network using the printer's menus just to see how... read more

HP) and they were all pretty good. But It's real quiet and real fast 've had a bunch of office printers (Ricoh, Epson, HP) and they were all pretty good. But, I think this one is the best so far for the price. I've only had it for a couple m,onths so we will see how reliable, but so far I'm really impressed- maybe the technology is getting better or something.

Huge Printer So Make Sure You Have a Large Enough Space This color laser printer is billed for home or office. It's 19 inches deep, 16 inches across, and 12 inches tall, so be sure you have a big enough space. The toners came pre-loaded. Out of the box, the printer needed dozens of tape and plastic parts to be removed. It's easy to miss a piece so be thorough or the printer won't work. So far I haven't had any glitches with the menu. I've had problems in the past. Another problem I've had in the past with wireless printers i... read more

Great little printer and pretty economical too!!! This is a nice fast color laser that isn't too bulky. It's pretty quick and the results are pretty good. It's For photos, it's not as good as a photo inkjet with glossy paper, but for text and lines this is much sharper than an inkjet! It wasn't too hard to setup. It took less than 10 minutes to get it out the box and all setup. Then I connected it to my home wireless. I just used the screen on the printer to connect it to my wireless network and I gave it a static ip. It too... read more
