I used to love this place, but my last visit didn't meet the same high standards. Prior to the renovations, servers were a tier lower than your seats. While the recliners are more comfortable, servers are a lot more obstructive. To make it worse, food runners interrupted us several times to ask if we ordered the item they were sent to deliver. We were there Sunday for the 1:40pm (theatre 6) for Beauty and the Beast. We purchased the entire front row as we had 4 moms with their kids. We told our server we needed separate checks. We each ordered our meals and our kids so he could write the checks separately. He was less than personable. He ends up bringing us one check - claiming he had no idea how to divide the checks up! I think the movie beauty and the beast was wonderful. Finding two bugs in my taco salad was terrible. Giving one back to the waitress and having the operations manager ESMERELDA PINEDA talk down to me roll her eyes at me tell me it wasn't a bug it was a piece of meat I'm just imagining things was beyond believe! You fixed the chairs all right Hollywood palms now please fix the terrible attitude and total lack of customer service your operations manager ESMERELDA displays!
I used to go to the Hollywood in Woodridge all the time. It was fun, great prices and good food. Moved so Naperville's Hollywood is closer. But things just aren't good anymore!!! New seats are ok but the long tables made it far easier to eat. And wth with the food prices???? Insane how much they have gone up and both quality and quantity have decreased. Just not worth it anymore. I'll go to dinner and then a movie cause this place just isn't worth it at all anymore :(
First time there, went to see Resident Evil. The seats were nice had the recline feature. Unfortunately my sons seat didn't work. It was me my son and my sons cousin. We ordered drinks. My son and his cousin ordered alchol drinks, I ordered just water. It took about 30 minutes to get the drinks and they forgot my water. Which took another 15 minutes to get. I would give 3.5 if I could. We have been going here since it opened, way too often then I care to admit.... Ok, the seats are a bit comfy, but the tray is awkward to eat off of... and the drinks are huge, you need to adjust seats just to take a sip... you've heard enough about the lack of free refill on drinks complaint. I hate to say this, but I too see the increase in cost of food and decrease in amount and quality. My fiancé and I used to go to Hollywood Palms all the time and loved it. We went for the first time in a long time on Sunday to try out the new chairs. We did like the chairs (so comfy I actually fell asleep at one point). However the prices have all gone up and I believe we got less food. My fiancé got about 5 French fries with his burger. Also the fact the you charge $4 for soft drinks and do not offer refills is ridiculous. We will not be coming back anytime soon.
Went on Dec 26th for Rogue One- stood in line nearly 20 minutes because there was only one line open to purchase tickets. When the waiter took our order he said it would be a "good wait" because more than half the staff didn't show up/called off. He was clearly disgruntled about this.
Today we had the slowest service ever. I didn't get my food until 1 1/2 hours into the movie and now the movie is over and we are still waiting for someone to return with our check. The last time I was here I received cold food. When I told them it was cold noone offered to get me warm food or an apology. I will think twice about coming back here.
