Nice new huge showroom! Furniture on display catered to the many different tastes which is a plus. Everything from modern contemporary, traditional, urban, "high end looking" stuff (sorry can't think of it but the stuff people would buy to make their home look like a white expensive regal hotel, not my taste but yeah) Helped by Beau, he was very insightful, approachable and never overbearing. Order a couch in May 2021 and still haven't received as on Nov 2021. Original delivery date was August, then it moved to September, then October. When November came no one called me to notify me what was going on. I had to initiate the call. I was told they were waiting for 2 of 4 pieces to come in the next two weeks, when that date came and went I called again and was given different information. Now only 1 of 4 pieces was in. NO COMMUNICATION! We went to the Kapolei showroom in the beginning of February and placed an order for a sectional and accent chair. We were told next shipment/delivery would be May, we were skeptical because of the timeframe (had guest coming over at the end of May) but decided to take a chance. Come the beginning of May, I emailed my Sales Rep to ask for an update and expected delivery date. His response, "I still see an estimated arrival for May. Be careful buying furniture here - there is a five day window to return anything, which they don't tell you about outright , it's printed in the pamphlet and the manager has the right to refuse an exchange for another piece of furniture after 5 days - to which he said no to us. Great way to lose return customers who spent a lot of money @homeworldhawaii @homeworldfurniture

There is no sense in going to this location because you would have to go to salt lake to pick up your items, if not delivered. It's basically a show room to purchase and only walk away with a lamp or pillows. It defeats the purpose of having a location on the west side.

If I could give zero stars - I would. We were warned not to shop here by many friends, but we were very impressed with the new Kapolei showroom and found Beau (Bo?), a salesman, to be extremely helpful and accommodating. Our Pottery Barn sofa had been damaged by movers, so we were looking for something similar. He was able to help us a ton in that regard, but that's pretty much where the helpfulness of this transaction stopped. Never come here!!! Date visited 12/4/16 - I just went with my cousin and her husband to go and help pick out some furniture for their house that they are renovating. We walk in and no one was around to help. We went looking around seeing if anything caught our eye and not one salesman walked up to us to see if we needed help. They would just walk right pass us. We moved to Kapolei 9 years ago at a time when there were hardly any options to shop. I am very excited with all of the new stores and restaurants opening up and the idea of not having to travel out of our community and drive in traffic. With that being said, I was ecstatic when the new HomeWorld store opened just 5 minutes away from home.
