wow, i wrote a terrible review of this place in October and it's funny that i can't find it anywhere! This place is a totally scam- a complete joke. they screwed me over once and when i yelped about it they wrote to me that they would fix it, but they did NOT, they never got back to me at all! The staff was friendly, but the service was REALLY slow. I made an appointment for an oil change. They told me to have a seat. I was there for THREE hours. They kept saying it was "almost done." It was really ridiculous. There are no major issues with the car, so I have no idea why it took so long. While I was waiting, one of the mechanics came into the lobby and started whining to the receptionist about how he wanted to go home. It was really pathetic and made me feel uncomfortable. I question their interpretation of the business name. I picked this place because of the location - it is close to where I live and I didnt have much of a choice when my car broke down. It was formerly Uptown Auto Care. I always had a good experience with the former establishment. Apparently there's a new auto service sheriff in town. He's dysfunctional at best. Very disappointed in my service experience. They had my car for a week. No updates, false promises of when it would be done.New problems popping up every time I call... read more
Honest-1 in uptown is just the opposite. My girlfriend took my car in to get a new battery and they took advantage of her and had her get all these ridiculous expensive tests when clearly any decent person could tell that the battery was dead. They charged us 180.00 for a battery labor and "tests" on a 2008 car with the factory warranty. This place is a rip off and they refused to refund my money. Don't bother with this place!!!! Jen
