By far the worst scammers I have ever dealt with. They over priced every part and claimed that it was due to them being able to warranty it. When the part broke within the warranty time they claimed that it was due to another faulty part. I called them out on over pricing and showed them what the most expensive part was going for and how it was half of their quote. BEWARE never trust a company who deletes comments from Yelp when they are not positive reviews. Took my BMW there and spent $500 dollars worth of work and nothing was fixed other then the oil change. Oh and what kind of grimy company deletes peoples reviews. I had a much more detailed review that seems to have magically disappeared.

This was my first experience with Honest1 Auto Care. While they were able to provide me with good service, I will never go back. When I picked up my car I realized my GPS was gone and my doors were unlocked. They said my car was left inside the garage which leads me to believe that one of the employees took it. They never returned my call so I had to call back again and again on my vacation. Of course they said they are not liable but I am very disappointed in their conduct. Stellar service!!! I've only been by a couple times, but both left a HUGE impression on me! 1st visit: I stopped by to request for them to add a little air to one of my tires (I usually fill it up at the SuperAmerica across the street, but theirs wasn't in service that day). We went to honest-1 because we had a groupon for an oil change. While they were nice and pleasant, and did a fine job on the oil change, they told us that we had a leak in our water pump. The price was reasonable (around $350), but I thought I would take it in to a family friend mechanic. He checked out the car and said that was no leak!!! While i like what Honest-1 stands for (green auto care), they tried to scam me out of $350.

My car had been acting funny for over a week, and I finally brought it in to Honest-1 to get it checked out. I can say that I will definitely go back for future car needs. The Good News: Extremely helpful, knowledgeable staff that are great at explaining things to those of us that are not mechanically inclined. They talked me through the repairs they made in a way that made me completely understand what they did and why, and not once did I feel like I was being talked down to because I'm a girl. wow, i wrote a terrible review of this place in October and it's funny that i can't find it anywhere! This place is a totally scam- a complete joke. they screwed me over once and when i yelped about it they wrote to me that they would fix it, but they did NOT, they never got back to me at all! The staff was friendly, but the service was REALLY slow. I made an appointment for an oil change. They told me to have a seat. I was there for THREE hours. They kept saying it was "almost done." It was really ridiculous. There are no major issues with the car, so I have no idea why it took so long. I question their interpretation of the business name. I picked this place because of the location - it is close to where I live and I didnt have much of a choice when my car broke down. It was formerly Uptown Auto Care. I always had a good experience with the former establishment. Apparently there's a new auto service sheriff in town. He's dysfunctional at best.
