While I was happy to get a same day appointment, I will never return to this location. My first concern is that this location is more than $20 more expensive than every other metro Honest-1 location, regardless of coupon. Upon drop off, I gave specific directions that I only needed my oil changed, and didn't require other services, regardless of them being of no cost to me. The guys here are awsome! I am new in town and we experienced issues with our truck so I went to one place before here and they were not very helpful. After asking around, I was referred to this place and they have been extremely helpful since. I can tell they have great integrity. They made suggestions that were in my best interest. Being a woman that knows nothing about cars, I was Comfortable with their recommendations.

So I'm not going to lie, I was a bit worried about coming to a place that needs to put "honest" in their name... but it was actually a pretty good experience overall. I made an appointment online and it was approved for the next day, so I was able to get my car in and out fairly quickly which is important to me. I was having battery issues with the cold weather so I brought my car here because it was within walking distance from my home if I had to leave it. I'll keep to the facts. In April, I went to this location to have them check out an issue I was having with my brakes. They quoted me at $1700. I took it to another mechanic for a second opinion and had the work completed for $250. I received a coupon for a $20 oil change and with it being so close to my home, I figured I would give them a second shot. True to their name. Went in for an oil change, which is very reasonable at a baseline price of $25, which includes a full inspection. They found that my serpentine belt was in really rough shape--even showed me the belt so I could see the damage for myself. The fee for labor and part was $130, which is on the low end of what I'd seen. Awhile back I brought my car in because it was making a really loud clanking noise. Turns out my engine had thrown a rod and my car was basically done. So as I was looking at new cars Honest-1 let me keep my car on their lot free of charge until it was towed away. They were very helpful throughout the whole process.

I went in to get a diagnostics test which cost me 145 dollars. One guy told me they it took a couple hours so that's why it cost that much. Another guy told me it was 145/hr for diagnostics. That felt fishy. And I have had cheaper diagnostics tests done elsewhere. Then I was quoted nearly 500 dollars to get a evap selenoid valve replaced, a part that costs 35 dollars. These guys are AWESOME. They are genuinely friendly and helpful, and do what they can to put customers at ease. They make an effort to explain things well and don't try to sell you on parts and services you don't need.
