These people are scammers. I have tried to resolve an issue with the ironically named "Honest-1" auto care on Lyndale for nearly a year now. Not only are they unreasonable, they are rude. I don't I have the time or money to sue. My only recourse at this point is to alert others not to patronize this business. Scam.

They over charged for diagnosis. $125 for a couple of minutes of work on his part when we told them what the issue was before he looked at it. There was additional charge for environmental fee when we did not have them do the actual work to fix it. We found another place to do the actual repair and that place was less than half the cost of this place quoted us.

These guys are awesome!!!! Came in for an oil change and they showed me that one of my tires was about to literally come off, very unsafe, and I probably would've been in big trouble with that one! they fixed all the issues at a good price and they were super helpful and friendly and even had one of their guys drive me home and pick me up once my car was finished. I'm so happy with the work that they did and they had a great attitude I'll definitely be coming back and tell all my friends to come here! Thanks!!

I've come to the personal belief that these guys are dishonest. Here's why: Brought my car in with a front end vibration/noise complaint. They diagnosed rear struts and I gave them the go-ahead for about $600. Problem wasn't fixed, and when I returned, one of the guys went out to my car and touched each of my tires and said that the struts had ruined my tires and I needed four new ones. Dishonest fits this company better. I've been a few times for minor services and was happy with the prices, service, quickness of repairs, etc. Recently, my car made a strange noise so I went here because it was close and they had been nice in the past. This time was extremely different. The guy at the desk was condescending and belittling. Sure they were friendly. Sure they had a cheap/chain like motel-like cafe to make you think you were special. This is a chain and it felt like it. I brought my volvo in for a muffler estimate and to see if a tie rod was not doing well. Oops the gentleman at the counter who was friendly but not computer savvy forgot to mention (nor do they mention on their signs in the office) that THEY CHARGE $36 for an estimate. I went here to get my oil changed and specifically asked the manager at the front desk if they could fill my tires because they looked a little low. He responded with "oh yes of course! We do a free 21 point check and it will be covered in that!" I thought well that's great! And sat down. The oil change was super fast and I was super impressed. My complaint is over a small amount of money but just lets you know there marketing tactics... I won't go again, this company doesn't have my trust, if they will screw me out of small amounts of money on an oil change I can't image what sort of gimmicks they do on big fixes. These guys will try to screw you at every turn. They push unnecessary services and repairs on you every time you bring your car in as well as price mediocre service as though its being done a luxury dealership. I do most of my own repairs and a quick price look up for parts is easily done and on average they overcharged me by 50-75% on every part I had replaced there.
