The rooms are nice and everything seemed clean. I did have to wipe the remote down because of some smeared fingerprints. Quick elevators and friendly service. The walls could use more insulation...I could hear EVERYTHING going on in the room next door. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow and disappointing.
Hadn’t been to this property in several years since Tropicana took over! Wow! Upon leaving, I literally felt like I should write Pinnacle a letter telling them how amazing River City and Ameristar really are! This place was absolutely filthy! Getting into the vestibule to go down to the casino, there was dirt and trash everywhere! It was obvious it has been there for a long time. Even though the hotel went through a recent renovation, the rooms seem to be dirty. We stayed in a non-smoking room, which smelled like smoke, and I noticed plenty of filth! The tub appeared to be dirty, lamp had food on it, remote control had old dried cheese sauce on it, opened the refrigerator and it appeared to be dusty inside! Service has went down since Tropicana took over I will now be going to any other casino avoiding Lumiere at all costs
I dropped my keys down the elevator shaft at 2 am they basically told me fuck me they couldn't do nothing. No nothing
