The restaurants closed 2 hours earlier then advertised. Then there was BLOOD and HAIR in our bed and when I went up front asking for new sheets and pillow cases the guy was talking on his cell phone and said they only had sheets. I will never stay at this place again.
Overall it's not too bad,but the service could be better, it's very hard to get a drink when you're at a slot machine, your have to stay playing get up and get it yourself,very annoying,bc a lot of times when you come back your slot is taken,l don't really win,but I continue to go
Burger & shake at Ozzie's Burger Bar was really good--but the smell of smoke made me want to leave as soon as possible. Used to non-smoking laws in Illinois.
The 2 positives I can say are very comfortable bed and friendly staff. Several negatives and I would not choose this place again. We didn't have hot water in our room. The hotel needs to be renovated, everywhere you look there are cracks, scuffs, broken closet door and walking around the outside of the building the blinds & windows have water damage and look terrible. Stayed last weekend, two nights. with a couple friends. Room was dirty! One friend has tried to contact them regarding this, plus no free wifi as we were told, they won't respond back to us. We pictures of the dirtiness!! Ask me, I'll private message you the pictures!
It takes way to long for anyone actually at the facility to answer the phones. the wifi is non existent which is ridiculous for $150/night rooms. We also weren't told that there were smoking and non-smoking sections. We were put in the smoking section unfortunately. They also charged us twice for a cup we purchased. We got a $20 credit for purchasing through Groupon which lowered our price from $21.74 to $1.74 which is what we were charged on August 27th. My husband and I decided to play tourist in the wonderful city of St. Louis! We booked the Lumiere over the phone after reading several positive reviews. The service we received was less than desirable, however. When we went to check in our reservation was completely wrong. When we booked we asked for King smoking room for 3 nights. I don't know what they did but everything takes so much longer now. Unless you have a gold or black card don't bother going to the buffet. Been in line over a half hour not moving. The only ones that get it eat now are gold card members.
Had to leave after waiting thirty minutes to be seated at the buffet when there was 7 tables open! The hostess and bussers were walking around slow as possible in no hurry to serve anyone!
