I had hoped to stay In the Victorian part of hotel but was put in new area called the views. My room was located next to construction as well. The hotel location and beach were wonderful and the staff at all restaurant and bar locations were wonderful.

Coronado Island is great but staying at The Del you never have to nor want to leave the property. The food and service at the restaurant is amazing! The shops are quaint and sell unique items. The staff is friendly and accommodating, with only one exception. I found the woman at the lobby boutique to be very rude and unhelpful. I wound up not making a purchase at the store because of her, however, it won’t keep me from coming back to the property.

We love this place. Our only complaint is that the first 3 nights, we could not get hot water.
