This was our 3rd time staying at the Del and this was our least favorite time. It is already a really expensive stay but amenity prices were substantially increased from prior years. ($200 per hour for s’mores. $500 a day for a beach day bed) Our room wasn’t cleaned twice where we had to call and request housekeeping. Not something you should have to do at this price point. Lots of good options for activities. Dining options are fairly limited and the prices are unjustifiably expensive for what you get.

Expensive but a truly unique experience
Quiet rooms, comfy beds, proximity to beach & overall decor. Very helpful reception staff

Had an issue when check in. Finally got a room after 3 hours.

Everything we needed right there on the property. Exceptional customer service!
Our stay was perfect From the Wait Staff at the restaurants to the Bell Hops Then there is of course the Beautiful Beach

The hotel is historic and in a beautiful setting. However, the old hotel rooms are absolutely disastrous. They are falling apart at the seams! There was no hot water to shower both am and pm. The towel rack fell of the wall at first touch. The coffee cups were dirty and food was left in the fridge from previous occupants!
