I would like to start by saying that my room was not ready when I got there it was 5:30pm which started bad, I also wish I would have requested a upper room but none were available the room was not bad just my room was in the first floor I will say I didn’t hear much noise but for what I paid I would of like an upper room but I guess that was my fault for not requesting it ahead of time but it was nice but for all the fees that were charge after I check out was crazy either way staying there was pricey check out was worse be... read more

Great stay as always with one exception. There were ants coming into our room on day 1 and this was never taken care of despite 2 calls and reassurance that it would be addressed promptly. I was stuck killing ants daily to keep them under control. We come yearly and stay for a week. I would expect better for this hotel service.

The hotel is incredible. Beautiful grounds, every view is amazing. Everything is expensive, but that’s why it’s nice and the all the hotel guests are pleasant and easy to be around. No nonsense to deal with. The only thing lacking is activities outside of the typical beach resort. Not a lot for the kids compared to a premium Disney resort or Sea Island, Kiawah, etc. we stayed for 3 nights and that was perfect. Any longer would have been too much.

lovely grounds, nice staff GUESTS paying large sums of money to stay there should NOT be charged exorbitant rental fees amenities...beach chairs, towels, etc. I could but my own if I'd known
