We booked a cabana ocean front room with the fire pit. Totally worth the money. I did read lots of reviews prior to booking. Be prepared for changes due to covid. They are not offering room service or house keeping but they did give us a number to call or text to get towels/coffee/ice... all brought to the room. There was construction right next to the cabana rooms but I couldn’t hear it from inside. The hotel is beautiful. The staff was friendly and quick to bring hospitality items to the room. The restaurants were excellent and the grounds were awesome. My only issue is the tiny elevators. Most of the time it was a non-issue, we would use the stairs. However, carrying our large heavy suitcases down at the end of the trip was a challenge because each floor had a minimum of two parties waiting.
Perfect location, not so perfect room 7am jackhammer outside my window each morning. Then roof repairs started at 8am. Wait until 2022 for construction to be over before coming. Room was nice and clean but not what was on the picture when booking. Also, not a lot of personal service because we booked through "a 3rd party". Bed was hard but my husband slept ok. Beautiful property, stunning beach. Unfortunately that's where it ends for me. We had trouble from the get go. Our room wasn't available when we checked in(the guest to the right and left of me were having the same issues).They wanted to separate our family and put us in 2 different rooms ( I have a 4 and a 10yr old). Um, that's not going to work for us. After being patient for almost 2 hours they still didn't have a room for us. Great amenities. Room was old and not overly comfortable bed but appropriate for the price we paid. You can’t beat the views and amenities. The food was average/ good.
Everything is just right.
Staff was attentive. Stayed in the older part of the resort. We reserved a suite but ended up with a view of the generator lol. We didn’t care enough to ask to switch rooms since we decided we wouldn’t be spending too much time in there anyways. Otherwise good stay.
