great place The hotel is classic and very nice. Of course, the best thing about this hotel is the location.

Lots of things were closed while we were there, including the pool and the ball room. The oldest and most historic parts of the hotel were not accessible. This greatly reduced our enjoyment, and we should have been notified before checking in.

Hotel Del Coronado My first time going out since the pandemic, was concerned was safety. Check in to the hotel is located is outdoors. You must stay 6 feet apart in line, all hotel staff wear masks. There is a glass patrician between the staff and guest during checkin. Lots of hand sanitizer stations located throughout the building. My room was on the 5th floor, there is a tiny elevator that was slow. Better to take the stairs.
