1-night stay Hotel Del is located in the best possible spot in Coronado and the vibe is great! The room and value was a bit disappointing for the price. if the price was better, we would stay another night.

Construction takes away charm! The ocean view room was amazing. The location of this hotel is one of a kind. However, the ongoing, significant construction is distracting to say the least. Dining options are limited, accessibility is very limited, pool access is limited. The beautiful old bar that looked out on the beach was also completely gone as part of renovation. The rooms themselves are fairly bland but the hotel’s architecture and location are superb. Loved the hotel’s proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants. Less than impressed being told at checkin that the lift was inoperable and being handled a printed memo that the water will be shutoff overnight. No apology for either.

This property is under a major renovation with limited access and amenities! I have stayed here many times but won't be back until everything is completed. They should have reduced their high rates during this process!
