Not worth the money Everything was just okay for me. This hotel has a lot of history and I guess that’s what you are paying for! Everything was very expensive. Don’t dare try to eat at the restaurants at the hotel. Our family paid for a movie on the beach on New Years Eve and I was disappointed that none of the less expensive food was being served. They only had $7 candy. The water was free. I had to walk over to the food truck to purchase a chicken burger and hamburger for $50. Did I mention I paid $40 for a blanket during ... read more

The property is under construction and it is loud and there is no pool or sun deck. I wish I had spotted that somewhere on there website but if it’s there it must be in very small print because I did not see it.

Time marches on... Been coming to the "del" since the '80's - lots of changes, some good, some not. It's still a lovely place, great ambiance. We came for our 50th Anniversary - 20 years ago the staff & management would have made it a bit more special. Under current management, that special kind of treatment is a bit passe. We still had a good time and it's still a special destination.
