I have always loved this hotel - having played there as a child during the war. Currently, it is undergoing renovations and the elevator does not work, the entry is at the back and so that the $$ money spent for "spa, pools, tenis etc. is charged but not used. Still, I love the hotel.

Much Needed Rest, Relaxation, & Quiet Service is the finest. Everyone is super helpful. Del Coronado is getting a much needed facelift & look forward to staying there next year. Great time to stay, because you avoid the crowds in January. A bit cool, but you will find a sunny morning or day.

Beautiful Hotel! My family and I loved staying at the Del!! We had an amazing time on the beach. There is renovations occurring, but we didn't hear a thing. This hotel is beautiful and an amazing place to stay, all of the staff was friendly and we would definitely go back for another stay.
