You can’t beat the location of the Del. I had a center ocean view room with unobstructed views. However this hotel is very dated. My bed was awful, with a huge slope on one side. I expected more considering what I paid. They are going through significant renovation so there was lots of construction noise and parts of the hotel blocked off. The staff was very friendly. I will wait until they complete the renovations before I consider going back.

Wait a few years before you go Yes its historic and grand but the rooms were not good... wall paper peeling... and dated... worse of all they are under construction and the pool resort area is not usable for the next 2-years. So plan according, because they won't tell you when you book... plus they still charge a resort fee even though you can't use the facilities and you get to hear loud jack hammering and construction.
