My mother was taken there for a "72 hour " watch since all of her tests were negative at the hospital. These people are very unprofessional and pressed to keep my mother there for a week. All she needed was oral antibiotics and her own doctor said that she didn't need to be there. They said that they have their own doctor making the decisions. I asked for his phone number but he doesn't return calls. They want to keep her there until the absolute last day that the insurance will pay for. There is no medical need to keep her ... read more

My husband (who is only 53) had major back surgery which, thank goodness, was 100% successful. He was up walking the day after his surgery. He was taken to HVHC for physical therapy. Things went from bad to worse to downright dangerous. The administration here seem to care but take absolutely no action. The physical therapists are nice people but are too busy. The food is dreadful. The nurses are dreadful. The place isn't very clean, which after having surgery is a concern for infections. My husband was totally over... read more

My grandmother was recently admitted here as she continued her recovery from being in and out of the hospital for a month. Despite the lovely courtyard, and wonderful therapists (who deserve 5 stars for their great service), the overall experience here was absolutely terrible. The nursing staff that gave medications, CNAs, Aides, and Respiratory technicians were incredible negligent, with terrible response time, and poor quality of service. this place is horrible. i recommend you don't go here because this place sucks. this place makes people worse. you are better off in a hospital. this place made my grandpa have more issues then he already had. never go here. they don't serve good food, and they are not that friendly. he contracted more sickness/disease since he has been there. we spoke to the staff regarding some concerns but things just seem to get worse. although they say they are working on it, nothing ever seems to get better.

I was a patient at this facility for 2 1/2 months at the beginning of 2012. At first I was very pleased with the care and conditions. Things started gradually doing down hill after about 6 weeks and was noticeable by numerous other patients. It began with the food taking a drastic drop in quality People were constantly getting foods that their doctor had restricted them from. The facilities in this center are mediocre. The nurses seem very lazy and do not look over patients very carefully. I often see them just standing around the halls talking amongst themselves. When you ask for simple things such as more blankets, etc. some nurses are very quick, yet most take their time until you have to ask a second time. In front of every room, each patient has an oxygen alert box that rings throughout the day almost every minute. Sometimes I just see the nurses turn them off and walk away. There seems to... read more
