We cannot say enough great things about the staff and facility! The staff, including the doctors, nurses, physical therapists and aids treated our mom with such loving kindness throughout her stay. They would hug her, hold her hand and always treated her with respect and dignity. They were interested in who she was and wanted to know about her life. My grandma was a resident at Huntington Valley Healthcare the last 10 months of her life due to complications from a surgery that left her in a wheelchair and with a colostomy bag. We had a positive experience with caring nurses and CNAs. The facility was always clean and they tried to have activities for the patients to do. She was alert until the end at age 98 and we felt like the staff really cared for her as if she were their grandma.

The people who work at HV healthcare are extraordinary. The kindness, patience, and competence I have witnessed over the three months my mother has been receiving care in this facility has me in awe. There are no words to express my gratitude to Logan, Mark, Ray, Lindsey, Joe, Angelina, Maria, and so many other amazing caregivers I can't include them all. The entire staff has been awesome! Huntington Valley Healthcare Center has a culture of care for its patients. I sat in my husband's room and observed unfailingly cheerful, patient, skillful staff members help him. No request was too much. Every need was attended to with good humor. There seemed to be enough staff to spend time with patients! Furthermore, staff made an effort to get to know clients' interests and lives prior to hospitalization. Staff responded quickly to medical requests, calling their doctor instantly. My father was taken care of here for a very long time. A sweet, funny, caring man. Unfortunately, he had fallen very ill in the last few years of his life. I remember driving up to Huntington Valley this past April of 2019. A beautiful welcoming entrance awaits you with a classy, well-designed sign and a big, elegant fountain. Five years ago I spent two 3-week rehab periods at HVHC, and I was glowing with compliments about my treatment and care. I had complaints, of course, the quality of care and attention from nurses, activities staff, PTs and OTs, and doctor visits were good to outstanding. I guess if you don't like HVC I would ask have you ever been to a skilled nursing facitlity before? Did you visit and take a tour before your loved one was placed there??? We did and my dad is there right now. I know they work very hard and maybe at times are a bit understaffed but they are giving my dad good care for his needs and they went to bat for us when the insurance was dragging their feet on approval. My Mom spent two weeks at this facility recovering from Pnuemonia. Staff is amazing, the care that was provided was great. The place is very clean. Staff is very thorough in keeping family informed of any and all changes with the patient. If my Mom required the needs of a SNF again I would highly recommend this facility. Thank you for taking great care of my Mom.

My brother was admitted to Huntington Valley after a short hospital stay. He has special needs so there is a learning curve as to what he needs or wants. The staff couldn't have been better with him. I was always greeted with a friendly face and willingness to assist. The facility feels more like a home than a hospital setting which is comforting to the patients.
