Went to OC Nissan Irvine this morning to get my car serviced. A detailer there backed another customer's car into my car. They say my car will be fixed, wont give me the details of what happened exactly nor would they let me talk to the person who wrecked my car. On top of that I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was not a manager working today.First time at this dealership, very disappointed. ..

Business response:

Gina, We apologize. I know that the dealership has already discussed this with you and we are getting your vehicle repaired. (And that we gave you a rental vehicle in the meantime.) Please call me to talk about your concerns - Sam Klein, General Manager (949) 951 7575

Sam the GM quoted me a price over the phone and then confirmed it via e-mail. I waited a week, asked for a price on a different car, and couldn't get them, via e-mail, to confirm whether that was the pre-tax or post-tax/out the door cost. When they finally confirmed it was the pre-tax cost, I sent an e-mail saying i felt misled and told them what I'd buy the car for. Sam called me within minutes, and whenever I started talking, he interrupted. I asked if I could finish speaking, he said no and then proceeded to yell at me as... read more

Business response:

Whenever any dealer gives quotes through email it never includes tax and fees unless the it is stated that it includes tax and fees. We as a dealer uses term "net" and it means after applicable rebates and incentives, if he took it as net with tax and fees it was a misunderstanding. As far as us needing his social security number when you were here, we need to run an OFAC on all customers that we sell any vehicle. It's our government responsibility to ward off terrorist and fraudulent activity. OFAC stands for "Office of For... read more

Went to see a used car on their lot for my daughter. They quoted me a price which seemed OK. I came back the next day, took it for a test drive with my daughter and said I would take it at the price he had offered. After 15 mins waiting the salesguy said he had made a big mistake and it was the 'wrong car' despite their being no other similar cars on their lot, and that this one cost about $1,500 MORE than he had told me. After several drawn out back and forths with his faceless 'manager' he said no deal even at the (higher)... read more

I purchased a replacement key from another dealership bc the cost was double at this place. After specifically being asked to double check compatibility they cut and said "it doesn't work u have to buy ours." I called the other dealership and explained what happened they said they would send the exact key to OC Nissan no questions, no cost. I had to go outside of this dealership to get proper service. It would have been so simple for them to check the sealed package with the part number written on it prior to rendering my pa... read more

Business response:

Mr Nouri at no time asked anyone at our dealer to double check compatability of the keys he provided us. We were asked to cut and program the keys we did so only to find out that Mr Nouri had purchased the wrong keys on Ebay. We explained this to Mr Nouri and our store had already contacted the dealer the keys were purchased from through Ebay and explained to them what happened and they asked us to have Mr Nouri contact them the next day. At no time did we ever say "it doesnt work you have to buy ours" we explained that he w... read more

We reluctantly returned to this dealer after a negative experience we had when we purchased our 2009 Cube from them. The salesman that sold us the car at that time seemed knowledgable, friendly enough and honestly, we had no complaint with him. His sales manager was another story. There is no nice way to say this; he was a joke. Seriously, the kind of guy that gives all the great car salesmen out there a bad name. Bottom line, we had done our homework and finally, we drove away with the deal we came for. Because that sales m... read more

I have always has excellent service at this dealer until a few months ago when I was trading in my lease. I worked with Leslie Sims. I knew what I wanted, picked out a car and started the paperwork. I was all set to pick up the car assuming all the paperwork was in order. Unfortunately, when I was following up about the paperwork, she never called me back. The receptionist said she was there so I kept leaving messages. I finally talked with someone else 3 days later who profusely apologized and told me to come down and pick ... read more

I recently went to OC Nissan and have never been treated with such disrespect. I was without a car and they offered to pick me up since I was local. I was completely upfront with them about my credit and my down payment and just wanted to know how much car I could purchase. They insisted to try and put me in a car that I didn't want and when I wouldn't sign the papers the sales manager told me to take a cab home. Needless to say I would never recommend this place to anyone. Buyer beware go anywhere but here.

This is only concerning the service dept. They create problems when while trying to fix a minor problem. They grossly over charge as in 2x the estimate for an oil change and routine service. It appears to me the entire department has been trained in confrontational negotiation techniques for when the customer gets upset after they pull their over charge or the vehicle sabotage techniques. Avoid this dealer at all costs.

They lied to us when we bought the car which they had customized themselves. Then a year later we took it back because we got pulled over and ticketed for illegal parts. It turns out that they are sure that they warned us about the illegal parts and they are responisible in no way if the car got me in trouble. They sold me a car that was illegal and told me it was my fault and told me to screw myself. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
