This company has very sketchy business practices. They lure you in with the idea that you are getting electricity from a more cost efficient and renewable place but undoubtedly just price gouges. I contacted them about the abnormal price during the warmest months of the year but the only thing they can say is market fluctuation to the sum of a $400 and the $600 bills. A rep from Indra Energy showed up at my doorstep, taking my comed account information telling that it is only for renewable energy research purposes and they would send us offers in the future for switching to renewable energy.Later I find out that they have signed me up for Indra Energy as a supplier.I would like to cancel this asap. Will keep others posted on how Indra Energy handles this case.Thank you

My wife answered a telemarketer from Indra/Palm and agreed to a trial rate since they guaranteed lower rates. They were very convincing. My June combined elec/gas was $945.28. I spoke to **** and if i had stayed with **** the **** would have been $180.26. My wife has a disability and when I spoke to them today and cancelled their service I assured them that without anything in writing this could not be valid. Beware of this company. I recently switched energy providers and had never been charged over $90 in a month from Indra. My last two weeks (not typical monthly billing cycle) I was charged almost $140 on top of my final months ****. When I called them, I was told that "rates change" and I was being charged the highest rate for those final two weeks. This company is calling me NONSTOP for over a week now. I get 2-4 calls a day, even with blocking the numbers. I told them multiple times I am not interested, and to stop calling me. This is an incredibly annoying, disrespectful, and terrible business practice.

Hi Indra energy PR person! Your sales agent was incredibly aggressive and misleading. They at no point said that they were from Indra (instead implying that they were from * * * * *) and then sped through the sign up process without letting me know that this was a supplier switch, what any fees were, what the rates were, or that I would get a notice from * * * * *in the mail stating that the switch was going to happen. I had a man, "Kobe", posing as a ***** employee and saying that he was with my current energy supplier. I knew my supplier through ***** had recently changed but could not remember the name and he said he was there to confirm I was aware of the recent supplier change. He said that my current supplier was Indra (when it was actually *****) and all I had to do was confirm he talked with me because ***** sent him out to talk with customers. I had a very very bad experience with Indra Energy . They offered me better rate for the gas and easy to cancel . I am end up paying more than double gas **** Last couple of months even after I cancel the services still they generate the ****. Indra Energy service is very very bad.
