So far so good This is a great app for setting up a digital IRA. My main concern is the communication between user and the exchange. If you have a specific question, timeline or technical issue it's almost impossible to actually talk to someone. It took over a month to make a simple cash transfer to fund my first account - simply because a wire transfer was not requested. I like trading 24/7 I have found the service to be very good so far. I only moved a small amount of my IRA over to iTrustCapital, but am in the process of moving more over. 1% fee to buy and another 1% to sell just needs to be factored in when you make a trade. Crypto moves 8 or 10 percent pretty quickly, so giving 2% (1% to buy and 1% to sell) is not too painful. Currently the tools for buying and selling are very simplistic. This company has no idea how to onboard… This company has no idea how to onboard customers. Requires extremely manual steps and provides no guidance or support - you have to become a Project Manager and spend significant periods of time on this. And don't expect to get any questions answered from iTrust when you encounter issues.

I had been thinking about buying some crypto… I had been thinking about buying some cryptocurrency when my brother-in-law told me about iTrustCapital. So I decided to transfer some of my IRA savings to iTrustCapital. My wife is also making the same move. There were no fees to transfer but 1% fee for purchases which is reasonable. lack of customer support UI not the best, specifically when placing purchase orders. Also, transferring money is not easy. Customer service is not available fast enough.

I sold a coin I sold a coin, I wanted the proceeds to go to buy another coin. So the proceeds were suppose to goto USD but instead sent to my bank account.

Hi Norman, What you are describing is not a possible function of the platform. Trades typically execute in 30 seconds or less and always settle in USD. Please respond to one of the messages we have left you to walk you through the process.
Crypto is here to stay When I got my IRA from a job I left I initially rolled it over to another IRA that was managed. Btw I’m not a big fan of stocks unless there’s a big buying opportunity when the market crashes. When I found out about this platform and the fact that it is self directed, it was a win win situation for me. I love crypto and was already investing in it and to have control of my own money was a hit for me.
