Experienced the smallest portions of a lobster dinner that was $60. The lobster tail was 4inch and the tiniest sirloin steak. Very shocking they were comfortable charging patrons that kind of money for such little portions.

Service was lacking. Waited forever to have our server come to the table. Only took our drink order once never asked if we wanted any more. Took our appie order then we had to ask another person to find her to take our dinner order. After sitting with no acknowledgment for a long long period we had to ask again for someone to find her to get the bill. Food was good just service was terrible

my husband and I made a reservation here for our anniversary. We were asked where we would prefer to sit and we said a booth in the dining room. The hostess said there were no booths available, so we just got a table. honestly i was so disappointed by my experience here. it was my 19th birthday and i booked a reservation for 7 and wasn’t sat at my table until 7:40 due to overflow, and got absolutely no compensation or apology for this inconvenience. i go to joeys burrard and burnaby all the time and have never had this happen before so it was extremely disappointing that this happened on my birthday. Usually I have an amazing experiences at Joey's coquitlam but last night was the opposite. We were seated in the back room with large parties. It was so loud. So hard to hear my friends talk. Service was awful. We wouldn't see our server for very long periods and when she did come she would interrupt us talking. She was not friendly or kind. No offer for refills on water or other drinks. Our server didnt pay attention to us nor give us adequate service. Our mains came and mine came out wrong Manager ensured it quickly got fixed she was the only good part of this experience. The booth we had was dark had to use flash lights on phone not a good feeling.

While Joey's is my regular go to restaurant when we have visitors, for date night, & for business lunches, I was beyond frustrated with the service yesterday. The very first thing our party were told was, that we had to leave by a certain time. NOT WELCOMING. We were all very put off by that. Hi - Tristan (604-374-0263) here - had lunch with Mahdieh's party yesterday and although the server was lovely we as a group forgot we hadnt ordered main courses because ourt menus were taken after we ordered appertizers. We sat for 1.5 hours without the server coming back to ask if we wanted to order mains even though she knew we hadnt.
