Lunch here was very mediocre. Our server was awkward, inattentive, and hard to access when we needed her. We had a dirty side plate with food stuck on it, waited 20 + minutes for drinks, and the food was mediocre at best. My wife's main course came out 10 minutes prior to my meal Then my Starter and the main course came at the same time ! And when this was pointed out to the server she clearly had no idea that this should not have happened. My meal included for a glass of wine ! When ordering the server advised me it would be an 8 ounce glass of wine ! However when another server brought the wine it was only a 5 ounce glass ! I was there to celebrate proposing to my girlfriend that evening. I had made a reservation a month in advance, and had left information through OpenTable booking to let them know it was a special evening and they promised they would help make our night really special. We were a group of 12; we got all our food and we had not gotten asked if we needed anything in quite some time. We all wanted water and more drinks. When we finally got more drinks; they were poorly made and were just not good, the restaurant was not busy at this point so we were a little dumbfounded that the drinks were sloppily made. We love Joey at Landsdowne. The food is always always great and we love the vibe. Our visit this time was mostly great, one of the entrees arrived quite cold (spaghetti pomodoro) and we let the server know who said she’d be right back and then disappeared and never remembered again.
