Our server was good despite being short staffed. Food was fine. What ruined our experience was sitting ear level with a station where employees stand at to fill waters and gather silverware. The constant noise from metal pitchers being slammed down, glasses and flatware was maddening! We couldn’t hear anyone at our table talking. They need to relocate this station!
I have written a private message to the restaurant and I would appreciate a follow back because yesterday night’s experience was horrible.
Arrived with my family, they sat us in the bar right behind the hostess. The cold air was blowing through. My daughter wanted a bigger portion of the kids Spaghetti, the waiter suggested the spaghetti dish on the menu, food arrived and my daughter didn’t like all the extras in it, I informed the waiter if we can just replace it with the kids spaghetti and he did send it out. Good food but service was lacking. Energetic atmosphere.
Worst service I’ve ever had and my food came out cold
SOOO noisy. Even my husband mentioned it and it never bothers him. The food was ok. Service was ok. The actual decor and ambiance of JOEY is the best. Ran into quite an issue upon leaving. I went to use the restroom and both were out of order. As I realized this, I turned around just in time to feel a cord come in contact between my toes and shoe. Extremely pricey dinner with mediocre service. Waitress had no personalty and the music was so loud we were shouting. Literally like a night club. Ithin place for sure caters to a younger crowd
I have been coming to Joey for years and I booked a party for my 30th birthday last night and it was ALL very bad. The service was ridiculously slow, our server had a yucky attitude, and she never informed us someone else would be taking our table; eventually we got a new, nicer server. We took up 2 small tables that had a divider in the middle of them. Our reservation was at 5pm and for the first hour, the low lightning inside against the huge white building which was reflecting the sun made everything look extremely dark inside, I could see the faces is my dining mates who were sitting across from me. Also, we had a reservation for 7 adults and they tried to squeeze us into a table for 6 which had benches on each side which was unacceptable.
