Absolutely loud music, long wait, rush us to finish meal! Nice staff.
The burger was horrible, meat cold, no seasoning. Lettuce limpy, onion cold, fries not fresh. The szeshuan chicken lettuce wrap chicken was extremely salty, much more so than last time I had it. Chicken was also lukewarm or cold depending on the piece. The diet coke was flat. The music was extremely loud. Food was mediocre. Disappointing place- felt like going to a PF Changs. Service is spotty and young, not well trained seasoned servers. Very busy place, a novelty in OC since it just opened. We ordered our appetizers and entrees and within 5 min everything was brought to the table, at once. So if you ate your appetizer first, your entree got cold. Our service was terrible. We had to send back our Chilean sea bass because it was extremely fishy. We ordered the steak frites and the amount of pepper on the steak made it difficult to enjoy. Our server was very nice however we had to bus our own table and we were awaiting anyone to come by so we could order more drinks for way too long. I had to get up to ask somebody to get us a drink. About of potential but at least the food was good a meats were cooked to the proper temperature. The place would be much better if the wait staff were better trained and attentive. Multiple waiters brought the wrong food and drinks to our table. Waiter almost spilled my date’s drink while reaching over her to fill her water glass. However, the noise level was so high with the other tables and the music my date and I couldn’t hear each other without yelling. Not a great first or second date spot.
A 99 dollar steak on the menu and you have paper napkins? Yikes
Came for a birthday. Half our food didn’t come the other half came randomly.
With all the hype I heard, I expected more. I had the fish tacos...no flavor--seriously no flavor at all...I found 1 shrimp and I'm not sure what else was in that shell...the over-spiced sauce served on the side overpowered the fish. My husband had the burger and said it was just alright--way overpriced for what you got. The bun was huge but the burger was too small. I am a local and have been to the restaurant on several occasions and unfortunately, my experience each time has been disappointing. When the restaurant first opened, it was five star, but between the service and the food quality it is now at best a one or two star.
