The food was great , but the service was absolutely horrendous.

Waterdown ice tea. We had to asked to be replaced. A single Mouse run thru the dining room. Food not as good as 6mo ago. The sushi was not worth the price. Salmon sushi salon was cooked tase to be asked by hot peppers. Tuna sushi the rice was dry on the surface. Stake was very good. Overall 80$ per person ? Many other places will be better for the price. Sorry it used to be one of our favorites, but it will not be any more. Just to add positive. The server was very nice and polite. Sorry.

Honestly I love joeys and my sister came down to visit for the holidays and I reserved the upstairs lounge and we were seated in the back corner where the staff were dropping off the dishes and on the first floor. The server she was nice but I only saw her twice…. It was not the vibe and I’m super disappointed. I never write reviews but I left feeling a bit upset.

Food was agreeable, however, we were seated in the upstairs lounge and it was quite cold. The only heat source were overhead hockey-rink style heaters. Our server was cordial. The food is a bit on the pricey side, and the tipping options started at 18%. I've always been a generous tipper when I receive great service, in fact, I've been criticised by my peers for being too generous at times, but a starting point of 18% for an average to less- than- average experience is starting to fatigue my sensibilities.

I’ve been a regular customer at the Sherway location for the past 5 years. I went twice this week and the services has declined. I thought my first visit this week was a one off but today I noticed that the service has declined significantly, had to flag a server down just for water, my client wasn’t even finished his meal and the server asked to take it away. I even had to tell the hostess that there wasn’t any soap in the men’s bathroom. I think my Joey days are over.

Set a reservation for a birthday dinner and wasn’t acknowledged at all. I usually have a good time at this location and wish I chose somewhere else to celebrate.

Music was too loud. Could not hear my guest speak Lunch was an hour however we had a new waitress and it took about hour and half Food was ok I am a repeat customer however the service needs to pick up a little more speed as we all have to get back to work!

Ate here few times in past few mths & has the best experience, but this time was worst ever. Turned away as walk in saying wait was two hrs or longer. Found open reservation 9:15 & 9:30pm on OT! Waited one hr and checked in told few mins wait for table. Think table was given away while waiting, had to wait other 30 mins while other two ppl parties given tables on main floor. Then told we had to up upstairs where would be seated. Other tables had heaters directly near or over seating area, not ours, it was absolutely FREEZING... read more

We went there for my birthday dinner celebration. The service was very slow. We had reservation for 4:45 pm. We arrived on time but waited till after 5pm to get the table. Then we waited for water to arrive for another 15 min. The waiter was nice but it did not make up for the slowness of the service. However the food was amazing. Everyone was happy with their order. We did not get compensated for missing happy hour or getting free dessert for my birthday. The prices were steep and not sure if I go back there any time soon.
