When we bought our used rv, we were told we had 60 days of warranty. We took our rv in for repair to the refrigerator door. The latch was broken and would not stay shut. Their solution was a nice, new, shiny bolt that screwed down into the door to keep it shut. Opening the door will take unscrewing it each time. When we complained about the fix, they tried a different pin, but it didn't fit.... and then they were done. ... and now we are done with Johnson RV.
I should have heeded some of the reviews I read here before purchasing my RV from Johnson RV. It felt good in the process. Our Salesperson was excellent and the transaction was smooth. The problem is they nickel and dime you in their store to get you outfitted. Given the outlay I just gave them, you'd think they'd throw some basics in as a goodwill package to new owners. Not a good place at all, crummy service dept, very bad repair work it just seems like nobody cares, from the top of the company to the bottom , do yourshelf a favor buy and shop somewhere else!
I would not return to this place. The service was very poor, We were left on the lot to look at the RVs by ourselves, no one to answer questions and it was a very hot day!

Johnson RV installed new lift jacks as part of new sale. Installed wrong Jacks and welded without disconnecting electrical. They tried to fix 4 times and failed. ZERO customer service. We brought them a vehicle to have a new generator installed. They had it for 9 weeks with no communication to us. They went though 5 service managers during this time, and when we finally got our rig back, it was $1,200 over estimate, and died in 30 minutes of use. They want more money to make it run. We ordered a new $150,000 plus 24' motorhome from Johnson. When our appt to pick it up came, we were called and told the slideout was the wrong one, so about 3 weeks later we picked the unit up. It was given to us with less than 1/4 tank of Deisel and we couldn't find a station anywhere to put fuel in. We made the horrible mistake of actually purchasing our coach from this company. But they sell the model we wanted and they were the closest. We will not ever use them again and can't wait until our first year of factory warranty is over so that we can get our extended warranty work done elsewhere. After a month of shopping for a class C motorhome, my wife and I returned to Johnson RV to buy. We settled on the one we wanted based on the price that our salesman Brad Howlett kept quoting us for the RV. We offered a slightly lower amount than the price Brad had been quoting, and were actually prepared to accept their original asking price if necessary.
