THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE PUT IN BY JOHNSON RV STAFF. THIS IS THE REAL STORY. New 2013 Jayco Melbourne 29D purchased Oct. 5, 2012 from Johnson RV Sandy Oregon. Johnson RV installed new lift jacks as part of new sale. Installed wrong Jacks and welded without disconnecting electrical. They tried to fix 4 times and failed. ZERO customer service. We brought them a vehicle to have a new generator installed. They had it for 9 weeks with no communication to us. They went though 5 service managers during this time, and when we finally got our rig back, it was $1,200 over estimate, and died in 30 minutes of use. They want more money to make it run. This was a brand new onan generator. We were told by the head of customer service that he can not be bothered with it. We ordered a new $150,000 plus 24' motorhome from Johnson. When our appt to pick it up came, we were called and told the slideout was the wrong one, so about 3 weeks later we picked the unit up. It was given to us with less than 1/4 tank of Deisel and we couldn't find a station anywhere to put fuel in. (When I complained they sent us a $100 gift card), Then when looking it over we found there was a chunk out of the front skirt and when we put the stableizers down, there was insulation from the water tank attached to it. We made the horrible mistake of actually purchasing our coach from this company. But they sell the model we wanted and they were the closest. We will not ever use them again and can't wait until our first year of factory warranty is over so that we can get our extended warranty work done elsewhere. As soon as we put our down payment/deposit on the rv down (they ordered one for us with the colors we want) communication stopped. We were told it would take 6-8 weeks for the coach to arrive. After a month of shopping for a class C motorhome, my wife and I returned to Johnson RV to buy. We settled on the one we wanted based on the price that our salesman Brad Howlett kept quoting us for the RV. We offered a slightly lower amount than the price Brad had been quoting, and were actually prepared to accept their original asking price if necessary. My wife and I visited this dealership in Aug, 2010, and were very disappointed with the entire experience. Plenty of motor home inventory and a very clean facility, but the salesperson we dealt with was woefully inexperienced. When I called to express my unhappiness, the sales manager passed us on to another equally hopeless salesperson. We finally gave up on this company and went elsewhere. We will definitely not return to this dealership for our next motor home.
