My experience with Johnson was not great. It started out fine, they have a nice indoor showroom full of a mix of mostly used and some new RVs, and the salesperson that was helping us let us explore on our own without being pushy. But if you find something used that you like there, you're only going to be able to buy it if you're prepared to overpay for it. When I went in prepared to negotiate a reasonable price for one, having not only done my research but also having seen the original purchase receipt (which they had - I'm ... read more

Hi Brian, First off, thank you for giving us feedback and we apologize for your experience at our Washington location. We do want to provide some context on a few of the points outlined in the review. The 2017 Pleasure Way Ascent is a highly desirable RV, especially given the particular low mileage of this piece of inventory. Searching popular RV websites you would not find any other 2017 Ascent's listed across the United States. This specific chassis is in high demand and has a 6-8 month wait time in order to get one. Al... read more
My previous review was about the sales side of the experience. That went well. This review is about the service side and the delivery of the new coach. The MH was delivered and they went through all of the normal operations and sent us on our way. Went camping that day and had no hot water and automatic step was going in and out and would not stay open. Called service department (hard to get to talk to a live person, by the way) and they said bring it in and I said send a tech. Went around and around and finally they ... read more

Hi Andrew, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we appreciate it. We are also glad that you found a RV that will work for you. Happy Travels, JRV Team
In early July my wife and I purchased a 2019 Jaco Greyhawk Prestige 30XP from Johnson RV in Sandy Oregon. Overall, Our purchase experience turned out to be a disappointment, when we showed up to pickup our new motorhome the staff had prepped the wrong RV for delivery. We sadly aloud them to talk us into taking the motorhome they prepared for delivery in place of the one we originally wanted...Mistake! We ended up with a 2018 30XP titled as a 2019. As they hurried us through the walkdown/acceptance process items were overlook... read more
Total lack of communication. We signed a purchase agreement 07/23 with delivery date 08/08. There were several items on the due list. I followed up with the sales person, Chris Redd on 08/05 and his email stated:" I will check tomorrow and send you an email. I'm sure everything is on track. Last time I checked everything was on. Someone from finance should call you tomorrow to confirm everything." At 3:30 the afternoon before delivery I received a call from Mikele telling me that delivery needed to be pushed out as some par... read more
(Strike # 1) Bought a 2006 Fleetwood Pacearrow, which seemed pretty clean for what it was. The buying experience was somewhat shifty. We needed to sign an agreement stating that we were ok with the terms of our loan being set at 4% interest and after both parties signs it means we pretty much bought an RV, both parties signed the contract. but when we came to pick up the motor home all of a sudden our interest is now 7% so much for a contract. (Strike #2) When driving home the TV mounted above (or should I say barely mounte... read more

Nick and Helena, First off, we would like to extend our deepest apologies on the problems you've had. We would like to address several of them in order to clarify your experience. Also, we want to provide some information on what customers can expect when they visit us. We are now performing oil changes on all of our premium pre-owned RVs before they are sold. This is something we felt was important and wanted to be sure our customers get a fresh oil change before they hit the road. Our Washington location is not closed... read more
A couple of words of caution: They charge top dollar for their used motor homes so I thought that they would have checked the rig out. The dealer pointed out that it had new tires, but last year we had three terrifying BLOWOUTS at highways speed. This year we had two tread separations. This was with constant checking on tire pressure. (we also had one other flat) We are now nervous about any more trips. Stay away from the Hercules brand of tire! We now have all new tires from Les Schwabb. Very expensive but I hope th... read more

Hi Jonathan, We are so sorry about your experience. I know you have spoken with our Sales Manager in attempts to resolve the issues. Please don't hesitate to reach out should any more problems arise. Thank you, JRV Team
Stay away from this joint! Frankly there are more competent RV people working at Safeway then there are working at Johnson RV. I purchased a small travel trailer at Johnson RV (big mistake). They claim to do a comprehensive inspection of their units before they are resold. After I got it home I began to be concerned about whether the wheel bearings have been packed or whether they are the type that are factory installed and never need re-packing. I called about this on Saturday and they said that someone would call with an... read more
ALL RV BUYERS, ESPECIALLY RETIREES BEWARE No matter how friendly the people in this dealership are - make no mistake, they are NOT YOUR FRIENDS. Their only interest seems to be in making an obscenely excessive amount of money by taking advantage of you. DO NOT discuss your credit, finances or financing options with ANY of these people. Not even the oh-so nice and friendly sales person, or the cute young office person. Do not trust their relationship with the institutions they offer financing through. Get a 2nd or even 3rd op... read more
I had an interesting experience at Johnson RV in Sandy, Oregon today. I've not experienced this kind of crap in 30 years or so. Perhaps this is just simply an artifact of the discrimination based leadership in this country now. However, that too will pass. Walked in Johnson RV and asked if I could look at a specific model that was advertised on their website. Waited for he salesman to show up, and when he arrived, he started out asking legitimate questions about what I was looking for, which was great (even though I alr... read more

Hi Wally, We are sorry to hear about your experience at Johnson RV. Perhaps I can help shed some light into our sales process. In the most basic of terms, we go through a Q&A session with our customers. We get to know who they are, what the plan on doing, budgets and that type of thing. It's to ensure we are showing RVs that make sense for each person or family that comes in. While your circumstance is a bit different as you had the make/model already picked out, our team wants to do the very best by each customer who com... read more
