In early July my wife and I purchased a 2019 Jaco Greyhawk Prestige 30XP from Johnson RV in Sandy Oregon. Overall, Our purchase experience turned out to be a disappointment, when we showed up to pickup our new motorhome the staff had prepped the wrong RV for delivery. We sadly aloud them to talk us into taking the motorhome they prepared for delivery in place of the one we originally wanted...Mistake! We ended up with a 2018 30XP titled as a 2019. As they hurried us through the walkdown/acceptance process items were overlook... read more
Total lack of communication. We signed a purchase agreement 07/23 with delivery date 08/08. There were several items on the due list. I followed up with the sales person, Chris Redd on 08/05 and his email stated:" I will check tomorrow and send you an email. I'm sure everything is on track. Last time I checked everything was on. Someone from finance should call you tomorrow to confirm everything." At 3:30 the afternoon before delivery I received a call from Mikele telling me that delivery needed to be pushed out as some par... read more
(Strike # 1) Bought a 2006 Fleetwood Pacearrow, which seemed pretty clean for what it was. The buying experience was somewhat shifty. We needed to sign an agreement stating that we were ok with the terms of our loan being set at 4% interest and after both parties signs it means we pretty much bought an RV, both parties signed the contract. but when we came to pick up the motor home all of a sudden our interest is now 7% so much for a contract. (Strike #2) When driving home the TV mounted above (or should I say barely mounte... read more

Nick and Helena, First off, we would like to extend our deepest apologies on the problems you've had. We would like to address several of them in order to clarify your experience. Also, we want to provide some information on what customers can expect when they visit us. We are now performing oil changes on all of our premium pre-owned RVs before they are sold. This is something we felt was important and wanted to be sure our customers get a fresh oil change before they hit the road. Our Washington location is not closed... read more
A couple of words of caution: They charge top dollar for their used motor homes so I thought that they would have checked the rig out. The dealer pointed out that it had new tires, but last year we had three terrifying BLOWOUTS at highways speed. This year we had two tread separations. This was with constant checking on tire pressure. (we also had one other flat) We are now nervous about any more trips. Stay away from the Hercules brand of tire! We now have all new tires from Les Schwabb. Very expensive but I hope th... read more

Hi Jonathan, We are so sorry about your experience. I know you have spoken with our Sales Manager in attempts to resolve the issues. Please don't hesitate to reach out should any more problems arise. Thank you, JRV Team
Stay away from this joint! Frankly there are more competent RV people working at Safeway then there are working at Johnson RV. I purchased a small travel trailer at Johnson RV (big mistake). They claim to do a comprehensive inspection of their units before they are resold. After I got it home I began to be concerned about whether the wheel bearings have been packed or whether they are the type that are factory installed and never need re-packing. I called about this on Saturday and they said that someone would call with an... read more
ALL RV BUYERS, ESPECIALLY RETIREES BEWARE No matter how friendly the people in this dealership are - make no mistake, they are NOT YOUR FRIENDS. Their only interest seems to be in making an obscenely excessive amount of money by taking advantage of you. DO NOT discuss your credit, finances or financing options with ANY of these people. Not even the oh-so nice and friendly sales person, or the cute young office person. Do not trust their relationship with the institutions they offer financing through. Get a 2nd or even 3rd op... read more
I had an interesting experience at Johnson RV in Sandy, Oregon today. I've not experienced this kind of crap in 30 years or so. Perhaps this is just simply an artifact of the discrimination based leadership in this country now. However, that too will pass. Walked in Johnson RV and asked if I could look at a specific model that was advertised on their website. Waited for he salesman to show up, and when he arrived, he started out asking legitimate questions about what I was looking for, which was great (even though I alr... read more
Business response:
Hi Wally, We are sorry to hear about your experience at Johnson RV. Perhaps I can help shed some light into our sales process. In the most basic of terms, we go through a Q&A session with our customers. We get to know who they are, what the plan on doing, budgets and that type of thing. It's to ensure we are showing RVs that make sense for each person or family that comes in. While your circumstance is a bit different as you had the make/model already picked out, our team wants to do the very best by each customer who com... read more
I requested a quote and received a confirmation email, but never received my quote. Do they even have anyone staffing that department? When we went to the lot it was a ghost town, no one seemed to exist at all during the entire 45 minutes we spent both on the lot and in the building. I guess they don't want to sell? Maybe it's just an RV museum? I sure would have liked to have made a purchase.
This is a horrible place. We watched a video on a 2013 fifth wheel. We had a appointment to see it and was told it was still available only to find out this fifth wheel did not exist. The 2013 was a different color and was being lived in and unavailable. The one that was shone was a 2012 and not at all what was in the video. When we told the sales manager, he did not seem to care at all. This video is still on the internet, they have not even taken it off yet. Everyone please steer clear of this business!
