Y'all are sleeping on Katz deli. I gave it 3 stars because it's a little pricey but the food was really good which I would give 4 stars. These wings were on point! I had chicken wings in a raspberry chipotle sauce. Lawd have mercy! They were fried crispy but not over cooked like most wing places. Katz's is Katz's. One thing I love about this place is the epic menu you get to chose from and you always know what you're getting. They're so consistent. Food was great as always and staff was friendly as well. Location was clean and restrooms tidy. Mildly busy so food took a min but not a huge issue.
Been dining here for years and gotta say Jim always makes it a great experience! The food is good and the service is spot on, anyone who comes here ask for Jim he won't disappoint.
We love coming to Katz's! The Philly Cheese Steak Classic is my go to whenever I head there, but it is hard to beat the Ruben. Katz's is open 24 hours but keeps the vibe like they were expecting you even when it is after 10pm. In an age when everyone closes at 9pm, Katz's is a welcome change. Katz's is one of my favorite places to dine in with my family! They have a large menu selection and everything we've tried has been yummy. My favorite menu item is the Reuben sandwich. I also love that they give you coleslaw and pickles to snack on- simply the best I've ever tried! Service needs a bit of improvement, but overall, friendly faces, great food and decent prices. I definitely recommend this place!

Where do you find a meal in the Woodlands after 1am? IHOP, Katz...end of list. In that way Katz is a late night staple (for the Woodlands.) The food is fine. This trip I ordered the "skinny" French dip. The "skinny" options offer a smaller portion size compared to the traditional sandwich. If I'm honest, this was still more than I needed. If you are in the Woodlands, outside of Houston, and it's late at night say 11 PM or later... This place has decent breakfast. I don't think I would go there during the daytime if there were other places open ... but for a late night spot, the food was fine. We had really good service and the manager came by to check on us to make sure everything was fine. A good late night spot.
My first time here! The food is good but what I didn't like was the 5% gratuity added for to-go orders (also the 2% non cash) charge that is not disclosed before paying. There is an option for leaving a percentage tip before checking out, which I did (7% is the highest amount shown other than a customized amount). For Katz's to hide a forced gratuity for to-go orders is just sad. Weather the service was good or bad, and regardless of the amount you force on your customers that is not a good business practice.
