Food was great! I had meatloaf and mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. Service was prompt and the place was fairly empty. I love the bar display and the tiles on the floor. Everything was clean. Our drinks were great and it was happy hour so it was half price. I wish they still had chicken in a pot. It was fabulous and my favorite. Not only delicious I liked the way it was served.
The breakfast was good and our waiter Dale was prompt. We have eaten and several other locations. I love the ambiance of this location. And their outdoor seating will be perfect for the fall.
Great food & manager switched one of my desserts with no problem. I appreciate that kind of customer service.
Kianna did a great job. A manager even stopped by to check on me. The restaurant is immaculate (even the restrooms). Very comfortable vibe. I stopped in for a late breakfast and as they say Katz never closes.
The food is always delicious, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. Whether we're stopping in for a casual meal or meeting up with friends and family, we always leave happy and satisfied. Highly recommend Katz to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!
I've been a fan of Katz' since I first moved to Austin in the late 80s, so when it klosed down I was disappointed that I wouldn't be able to find a good Yankee Pot Roast sandwich again. And it's been true for 15 years. Luckily they are around H-Town and my last visit I was staying relatively klose to the Westheimer location. For the longest time I was looking at the billboard on Southwest Freeway by Hillcroft says "exit here to Katz". I always thought that Katz at Montrose area. Not here in SW Houston. Only because of my toastmasters friends showed up here and then ah... I was pleasantly surprised. Very cool restaurant. It's a perfect location for a 24-hour restaurant - Never Kloses. My favorite thing about Katz was their pickles. For a pickle person these were almost perfect, crunchy and just the right dill taste. I would choose Katz 's over others just to get the pickles. However, the last couple of visits have been a GREAT disappointment. Something has changed and now the pickles are tough, hard to eat with an aftertaste. This may seem a silly matter when I like their food overall, but this is the thing that sets the apart for me. So I will not return anytime soon.
Delicious and a great place to to grab a Rueben sandwich! The place looks nice and new and feels like the old Katz's
