Don’t move here! Expensive place to live when it’s not even updated. Nothing works properly and no cabinet space. Every thing is old and falling apart. I would not suggest living here. They also had a special for new tenants for update apartments. However wanted to charge me twice as much if I was to switch units. There is also a lot of crime here.
Do. Not. Live. Here. This place is horrible. If you put in a maintenance request, hopefully you don’t need it any time soon. I’ve been waiting 3 and a half weeks now for a new air filter. They don’t want you to change it yourself but they won’t come change it either. My neighbor waited 3 months for them to fix her dryer. When we first moved in, we needed a handicap parking spot near our apartment. It took 4 or 5 months for them to finally put a sign in the spot. I would caution before moving here The new management and office staff have a very high turnover rate. Noone is there long enough to get to know tenants. No one is ever available or in the office when needed. It took me an entire year to receive help with a dishwasher repair order. The overcharge on late fees and their utility bills. I live in a 2 bedroom and I pay $300 utility bill and $90 water bill. This is not mentioned in your lease. Parking sucks, you have to park down the street from your building. Nice apartment, obnoxious neighbors The apartment is pretty nice, but the neighbors can be obnoxious. My friends apartment is on the second floor and their downstairs neighbor smokes inside all day and her apartment constantly smells like smoke. Sometimes weed. The office refuses to do anything about it. And my neighbors across the hall are up to some mighty shady stuff.
SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR DEPOSIT As I am going through the reviews, it seems as if the positive reviews are current residents. I had that some positive experience until I moved out. I have rented in the Indianapolis area for several years and the move out was always pleasant and easy. I always obtained my full deposit at the end of my lease. That was absolutely not the case with Keeneland Crest. I had $599 in additional fees! It's a trap We were initially attracted to Keeneland Crest because of its spacious/affordable floor plans. We loved the location as it was within a reasonable drive to work. We fell in love with the upgraded Victorian floor plan, and we were told there was an availability in a model that had a lake view. It was an easy decision for us, so we read the lease thoroughly since this wasn't our first "rodeo" with renting, and we signed right away. Don’t recommend Horrible customer service. The office seems to be inconvenienced every time you would try to contact them and never replied to emails. Put in a maintenance request three times for my ice maker not working and each time they came to “fix” it, it never was successful and it was never fixed during my one year lease. The same thing happened with my toilet that would never stop running. Poor Complex Keeneland Crest Apartments is the absolute worst complex I have ever lived in which is saying something considering I have lived in some truly horrid apartments before. I would not recommend to anyone to live here. Even paying extra for the more premium apartments I have found myself regretting my decision to ever come and live here. Worst Office Staff DO NOT MOVE HERE. I cannot say that enough. Before moving here I heard maintenance and office staff was a problem by a former resident but I shook it off. BIG MISTAKE. I fell in love with the upgraded apartment and the laminate flooring. What good is a nice looking apartment when there is horrendous office staff and maintenance.
