I love Keke's! The first time around, I didn't really know what was good and what to order so I decided to get the breakfast wrap with American cheese, mushroom, spinach. I also had the onion rings with it and they were also really good. My second time around, I decided to build my own turkey sandwich combo with onion rings. Great coffee too. I know where I'll be going when I don't know what to eat for breakfast!

I finally make it over to the new(er) Keke's in Longwood. The line on a Sunday morning was crazy long but we only waited about 20 minutes. Our server was very nice but a little slow. The place was packed but I hated running completely running out of coffee (I really needed it!). It would be a good idea on busy mornings to have someone come around just to fill coffee cups. When it comes to breakfast, you can't really surprise me. There will always be eggs, bacon, pancakes etc. Its your traditional IHOP sort of place. There's a bit of a wait during rush hours (AM) but this is expected. They have a decent size waiting area. Treated like family & food was fantastic. My 70 year old father fainted from low blood pressure & the paramedics were called. Most places would have tried to hide it; not here. "What can we do for you" was coming from everyone, from managers to bussers. They were good, genuine people in addition; money can't buy that. The food was really good however the waiter was not your normal type of server. I would like to say it's probably my fault for not checking but when a server serve you, normally they make suggestions as to what's available in combos or platters. Based on the long wait time when we visited, we saw this was a popular place and figured it must be good. However, most of our experience didn't line up with that expectation. We asked for bacon to be made crispy and well-cooked, but this instruction was completely ignored; it came out rubbery. Another menu item was supposed to include 3 fillings, but it came with only 2. Came here about 1030. I should have known to turn around when I didn't smell a thing. Greeted immediately and place was pretty empty with exception of about three or four other patrons. Server was super sweet. Took my order and food came out in five minutes. Food was cold. It tastes old. Manager came and apologized and offered to remake, I declined. Came after work for breakfast with my co workers. We were seated immediately since we were the first dinners. Keke's offers the basic breakfast menu that we all know. I got the silver dollar pancakes and a side of bacon. Unfortunately I did find a hair or string in my butter. Of course I told the waitress and they had inspected it and told me it was a string from their apron and not a hair.... that's weird.... Brian and the staff were extremely rude. If you have a service animal, you will regret coming to this place. Go to metro diner down the road. They have great service, and are extremely friendly towards my service animal and myself.
