I went to this Keke's this AM to meet an employee of mine for breakfast at 10am. Our waiter was moderately friendly, we both ordered breakfast and began catching up with each other. Mind you, the restaurant was very slow, plenty of seats, majority of the restaurant open. Went for brunch today with my wife. It was our first visit. The menu was strangely absent of many things you would see at most breakfast spots like this. It was overloaded with waffles, pancakes, and french toast variations. My wife had a club sandwich. I had a sausage and cheese omelette. This was my first time here and will definitely be the last. Came in on a Monday at 10:30am. The place was not full so we were seated right away. Our server, Lorie, came in and took our drink order and immediately walked away. She dropped off our drinks and kept walking. Today I went to Keke's Café in Altamonte Springs with my two kids. There was no wait time so we were seated at the booth right by the hostess stand. The server, Mindy, asked what we wanted to drink and came back in a few minutes with our drinks. We were not ready to order so she said she would be back in a minute. The longest minute of my life. Cold food that I had to send back and then when it came back out the bacon was still cold. The manager never even came over to the table. Saw the manager seating people the whole time but obviously could care less about doing table visits especially when there was a problem.
After craving for several months to try KeKe's it ends up there's nothing great about this place, HUGE disappointment! It's expensive and the food might look tasty but it's bland. Now what this dump calls home fries is really scolloped potatoes. That's right the cheapest easiest way to save labor and money. Very bad customer service , waiting for long time they couldn't find table after they call us ,we have to Waite other 15 min ! we try talk to manger but she's very very rude, over price .we never come back .
Disappointed. Overpriced and bland. The wife didn't recognize what was supposed to be a hollandaise sauce, and apparently the standard definition of "home fries" doesn't apply here as we were served new potatoes that seemed to have been just sweated down in a pan until soft. I also find waiting 20 minutes for breakfast to be served is a bit too long, especially when less than half the tables are occupied. Will not patronize this chain restaurant again.
Not bad, however I was not fully satisfied. I found the pancakes gummy and not too tasty. I have to say that the presentation is good, but the quality is mediocre.
