I come in every 6 months to check my optic nerve. I had an issue a few years ago which is now fine. I have natural monovision and do not need or wear glasses. Why am I charged every 6 months for a refraction. Even people with vision problems are not refracted that often.
Michelle was very good at her duty. I told her I would forget her name in 3 seconds, she said 4 seconds. We were both wrong.
Eye drops had extreme effect on vision even with sunglasses
My daughter and I were there for 2 hours for a routine eye exam. That was way too long!! Leslie is amazing & fun! Dr. Young was good as always. Waited again to check out because all but one person had left for the day. Rather annoying.
You should definitely reconsider requiring all eyeglass prescriptions go through your optician. It adds a ridiculous amount of waiting time to a visit that is already long when the prescription itself takes seconds to write. If I wanted to visit an optician, I'd go to one. I'm there to see a doctor, why can't he write my prescription?
I do not like the idea of being given a tablet and have to answer questions because you have a new computer program. I was having problems seeing, that is why I had the appointment and then to have to answer questions. Your front desk people tried to be helpful but they were very busy. It was not a comfortable situation. I will be bringing my mother (94 years old) and she can not see well and is always so nervous about the apppointment. I had to wait 20 minutes in the exam room for the doctor
If there was a preventive care warning in the waiting room about monitors and specifically phones. Maybe tie it in with the no phone policy. I have had worsening vision due to this. There is also an app which cuts cellphone blue light during end of day which maybe you could promote which would help a lot of young people in the future because we will be looking at phones for 40+ years to come come
I had to wait 45 minutes in the waiting room before the doctor came in. I went out to see if I was forgotten but saw no one.
