My 10 AM app't. went well until my eyes were dilated, and I was seated in the waiting room. As I had an app't. following this one, I was concerned at 11:30 that I was still seated in the waiting room. Also needing some time to see the optical section of the practice, and having difficulty w/ pain & movement when seated in one position for a while b/c of arthritis, I would respectfully suggest that someone, if not the tech who initially seated me, would give me an ETA into a room to complete the final brief meeting w/ the doc... read more
My appt. lasted over 2 hrs. Had I not revisited the appt. board there is no telling when they would have referred me to the tech. I had been reviewing my questions and one of the greeters had "blacked" out my name reflecting that I had gone in which I had never been called. I hope this was simply a misunderstanding between the workers at the front desk. After having brought it to their attention and the seated waiting patients being down to just a few that had come in after me they immediately got me attended to.
I was in a situation where I needed glasses because mine were broken. My refraction with Dr. Jasani was only for contacts, not glasses. Thankfully, Dr. Young had a cancellation and took me right away so I could order glasses and not wait for a few weeks to schedule with Dr. Jasani. Thank you!
I was 5 minutes late for my appointment and I had to make an appointment for my son for April. I started to give the girl information and before I finished I was call back to the examine room. The girl at the desk said no problem with finishing the appointment and to go back to the examine room. She brought all the information to me while I waited for the doctor to come in.
Office packed. Optometrist upset I was in one of his seats. Front desk great! Woman who took me back-not so much. Felt like I was wasting dr's time.
I have no prescription on hand. I have not been contacted concerning my new contacts. So giving a good rating is an issue for me. its been weeks since my appointment and no contact from your office.
I did wait 45 minutes after being greeted before any action took place, however there was an emergency as an elderly lady fell outside in front of the building and the staff, including Dr. Young assisted.. NO changes required...
sitting in the reception area listening to co workers discuss personal issues while our appointment time had passed by more than 20 minutes.
