I was SO excited to finally try La La Land after seeing raving reviews of the drinks and aesthetic on social media. I got the Perfect Matcha, which was quite deceiving because it hardly tasted like matcha. All of my friends got their drinks before me despite me ordering first. This is ridiculous! We have a shop full of workers that are so incompetent that they can't take an order over the phone, afterwards, are slow when there is a line inside, telling people "give me a second" while moving at a slow pace. As I finish telling her my order, she informs me that they don't take cash! What a joke! I wouldn't touch thus place with a 10 foot pole! I would have left her with the change no problem, but they are not here to service you or to make anything easy! Avoid this place at all costs!

This place is overrated. For starters, the DMV has faster lines than this. Teenage kids slacking off with no manager in sight to hold them accountable. The line took forever and the only reason I stayed in line is my wig wanted to see what the rave was about. Let's just say neither of us will ever return.

2/5 Mango passion fruit cooler with coconut cloud ($6.30) was too sweet. Didn't have enough of a tart passion fruit flavor. 2/5 Hot chocolate tastes like Nesquik powder. Disappointing. Hot chocolate is supposed to have actual chocolate & taste like actual chocolate. I make better hot chocolate.
Horrible, horrible service! I walked in with my husband on Saturday night because the door was wide open and it was cold outside - we thought a hot drink would be perfect. A barista shouted at us to "get out." I was stunned. You'd think that a place as bougie as this charging top dollar for a coffee would at least offer you decent service. Where do I even begin? I went yesterday night around 6 pm. Line was not out of the door, but might as well have been. Only one cashier who took her sweet time with every customer. I really appreciate her customer service attempts but there's a time and place. Each person would only order one drink and it would take more 5 minutes per person to order (which is insane). Waited 20 min on a Thursday for 2 lattes. Staff clearly doesn't care to work faster or more efficiently. Both my lattes were wrong, one was iced instead of hot and another had the wrong milk in it. First wrong drink was remade while I sat and waited for the second wrong drink. I really don't get the hype about this place the coffee is legit whatever and very expensive. This is just another LA trap of a place.
It is sooo lalaland. One of those places with a long line, apathetic staff, expensive, so-so tasting food & drinks, afterwards you ask why and feel stupid for wasting time and money. But then again, it's Instagramable
Was waiting for an hour in line and got a lululemon chai latte which was not good. The cup was dirty and sticky and they were out of whole milk option and napkins.
