I've had many matches in LA and this is by far the worst. I bought the strawberry and regular matcha and both were incredible bland and somehow very oily from the milk? There was no matcha flavor at all, just very fatty, old milk. Do not come here for matcha, it's very white washed. Walk the extra 10 minutes to community goods down the street. The drinks are already very expensive too. You WILL be paying $7ish each for gross milk. I even went home and made my own matcha which was a million times better. Very disappointing an... read more

My overall experience here was not the best. For starters, the line was very long and it was very packed in the store. The baristas were friendly, but the experience was still very chaotic. I wished they had menus that you could look at while you're in line since it is pretty extensive. I think that may have contributed to the long wait time. I ordered an iced matcha and it was mediocre at best. It tasted pretty watered down and it was unfortunately not enjoyable. However, the store was aesthetically pleasing. I personall... read more
A cool spot to check out if you're visiting LA for the first time, but the coffee is overpriced and subpar at best. There are definitely better options nearby.
they got my order wrong ( i ordered a buratta avacado toast) and when i got it it was so nasty. mine had a solid glob of chunky chili oil that wasnt spreadable and it was just bland otherwise. i got the lavendar latte and it was nice but i can think of a bunch of better places tbh. also expensive tf!

I really wanted to love this place, but after giving it two chances at different locations, I just can't. I ordered the Butterfly Matcha Latte and French Toast Latte, and both were disappointingly bland--I could barely taste anything beyond the milk, which itself tasted watered down. At this point, I wouldn't even call it coffee; it's more like a cup of milk with sugar, missing the depth of flavor it should have. I appreciate creativity in drinks, but if the taste doesn't deliver, it's hard to justify coming back. I will s... read more

These people are sllllooooooooooow. There's always a huge line no matter what time you come on a weekend or a weekday because although there's technically 2 registers there's only 1 cashier taking orders at a time and the amount of chitchat happening behind the counter is nearly intolerable to watch. I like their avocado toast more than their drinks but those are okay too. I come here seldomly just because of the service moving at a glacial pace.
this was just a bad visit overall. the only thing positive about my experience was my drink ive been to a few of the other la la land kind coffee shops and this one def missed the marks across the board it was not busy i was the only one that walked in, then a couple walked in a few mins after me i didnt know what i wanted so, the couple ordered first. the cashier was super friendly and attentive to them... no greeting upon entering the establishment the greeting of "ready?" when i was ready to order i wanted to order the... read more
Super aesthetic and the avocado toast is delicious, BUT BOI THE MATCHA is straight up milk y'all have NEVER been to Japan. In Kyoto that shi BOMB and FIREEEEE .

Hi Andrea! We’re so glad you loved the avocado toast and the vibe! We hear you on the matcha, and we’ll definitely take your feedback into consideration. with love, la la
The matcha was ok. I have had better. But in quantity terms this is the worst matcha. I had like two sips of matcha before there was NONE left. This place is worst than Starbucks when it comes to ice. My cup was 99% ice. This is very upsetting for paying almost $7 for a size SMALL matcha. I have been here multiple times but that's it, I am done. Not worth the time, money, or wait. The cafe is aesthetic but there isn't enough seats for its busyiness. I would give this 0 stars if I could.
