Drinks were not good and expensive (but that's everywhere in LA lol). Beautiful interior and packaging but more effort should be put into the drinks.

IThe kindness the brand is built on seems to have vanished from this location. Nobody has a smile on their face anymore and seems like they don't care. I used to love the friendly staff here in the past. My experience the other day pushed me to write an updated review. I ordered in-store recently. I never got credit for my purchase via rewards because the sloth behind the register never asked. I literally told him it was my first time ordering in-store because the lines are usually too long for me to remain standing. As such, I don't know their protocol. Not only did I not receive my rewards, my order was all wrong. I tried to tell the assembly line to check it prior to the order being made, but they refused until it was completed - and incorrect. Absolutely worst service the man taking my order was doing the most with his attitude! I waited for a very long line to order the matcha latte. I had to get in line again to wait for my drink. I asked for the cup holder and the one of the worker (this girl) threw the box at me. I mean literally, she threw it and people around me looked at her and looked at me. I was holding the walker by my side. She could've at least hand it to me gently. Hello, I am messaging to inform you as a retired HR professional who has worked in hospitality predominately all over NYC and LA the staff working at the grove location was extremely unprofessional. I over heard one of the disgruntled baristas talking about customers, cursing, and having an overall negative attitude towards other staff and customers. This is our second location for La La Land Kind Cafe that we have visited and we wouldn't favor this location ever again. For it being inside of the grove, there are A LOT of people here, grabbing their coffees! After noting the crowd, I decided to place an online order in advance to pick up my coffee. We ordered a La La Land Latte, iced. When arriving, there were two massive lines, one inside and one at the pickup window. If they could improve on their roach infestation I think this location has potential! Didn't try anything they had since the first thing we saw was this fella. Baristas looked friendly I guess?
