I placed a pickup order online for 10:55 AM because I wanted to avoid waiting. Instead, I ended up waiting over 20 minutes while being repeatedly told it was "almost ready," which clearly wasn't true. The staff was dismissive and rude, and the overall customer service was really disappointing. What's the point of pre-ordering if it takes even longer than ordering in person? Definitely not the experience I expected.

The not so kind cafe. I just want to say that there is so much unprofessionalism with the Glendale location. I love the drinks from La La, and been to other locations. First, I noticed that they had employees pretend to be customers in what appears to be major damage control. Nate Herrera is a CURRENT lead there. Ella Sweeney works there, Anna V is a current employee. And they all pretended to be customers. Very cute location, more for aesthetics than actual drinks. The atcha with the strawberry foam was just alright, nothing out of this world where I'd have to try it again or recommend it. The wait was eteeeerrnnnaaaallll but it's a Saturday so I guess to be expected. The expedite process could be a bit better, they had a new girl, poor thing, topping drinks off and handing out and she went to look for some angry, impatient customers drink and the rest of the drinks just sat there, no one took over. La La Land is super cute and has a fun menu, but the drinks were just okay. The chai was better than the matcha. I would rather get my chai Nordstrom's eBar. Matcha was decent but kind of bland. Worth a try.

When this spot first opened, the drinks were amazing! But a few years later, it seems like the quality just went down as they've continued to expand. I go one a week and always try a different drink every time to see if I can grasp a taste of the deliciousness i once had tasted there. After trying almost every drink there, I've found myself taking only a few sips before stopping. I'm not sure if the staff got overwhelmed from all the tourists going there while visiting the Grove. After 4-5 visits at this location, and experience with other locations, the friendly service here is unreasonably slow. It should not take 20+ minutes to receive your order after you place it and pay at the register, after already waiting in a long line. Yesterday, I ordered hibiscus iced tea, which required simply grabbing it from the fridge and adding some ice. Very mid coffee that's about 7.50 for a regular size. I ordered a salted maple latte and asked for it decaf and after sipping it for a few mins I noticed it wasn't decaf. Sucks because I work early mornings and thought it would be nice to get a "coffee" with some friends. Long lines for mid coffee, not worth it.

This Lalaland location is really disappointing. There are about seven staff members, and it seems like only two are actively working during busy times, which leads to long lines. The cashier spends a lot of time chatting about her personal life with customers, further slowing down service. The overall service is frustrating, and the place is in need of improvement. they messed up my order twice for giving me the wrong size and didn't even apologize. they couldn't get the size of my drink correct even though I kindly asked.
