went in yesterday maybe 20 minutes before closing and I waited for someone to take my order for a while. The employees were all busy with closing. The girl putting away the milk did it with her long hair in front of her shoulders. It was a disgusting sight while I waited for someone to take my order. I want to preface that I have food allergies, so I checked their menu ahead of time and looked at the ingredients. I have a pretty bad banana allergy, so ordered a matcha squared since it's virtually a plain matcha. That being said, when I received my order, I had tasted it and there were chunks of fruit in it which was not listed in the description of the matcha squared on the menu. Complete gimmick of a cafe. Please people, just because something is aesthetic does not make it good. I will be totally transparent and say this was from a few months back and I only just now remembered to review it but dang, this was a level of awful that would be hard to forget. Clearly all the money for this place is spent on staging rather than the menu. Good coffee and usually good food but the service just isn't the best. Sometimes the food quality lacks as well. Always feels like things are falling through the cracks because everyone is moving so quickly. I imagine they simply just don't have enough staff. At any location. Makes it impossible to ask for help when there's a problem and if you do, it feels like you're intruding and ruining their flow. I think La La needs to slow down and hire more people across all locations. The quality and service are suffering.
4 stars for the coffee, but 2 stars for how staff handled this situation. I get matcha there quite a bit. I have gotten the same drink there multiple times. My latest visit had me getting the same drink, but it was off - it was missing something. Tastes nothing like it always has. I went up to the cashier and she said, "sure let us remake this for you", but wouldn't do it for free. She insisted I pay. I placed an order online as the hours said they were still open and it went through. I show up at the door and see the staff working on closing the shop up. The manager just told me they were unable to make my drink and just offered me a free drink for another day. He was nice about the situation and apologized for the inconvenience. I can't get my money back right away and now have to dispute the charge with my bank which could take a few days. The overall era was very cute and I was excited to get my matcha but the servers were very rude and side-eyed me while I ordered. Didn't see anywhere stating they didn't take cash and the cashier looked at me like I was trash when I held out cash to buy my drink. Did not hold up to the "kind" in the name of the store.

This place lowkey sucks. Ordered two drinks, took 45 minutes to get them out. Workers were super friendly and nice on the bright side. Ambiance feels very sterile, kind of gives Pinterest hospital. Also the price was outrageously expensive. I wouldn't go here again - don't believe everything you see on Tik Tok.

The coffee in this place is honestly fantastic and so is the ambience. However, the workers were so rude and dismissive. We came in and the line was long which is expected and totally fine, and there was a mom with kids in front of us and two cashiers open. One cashier left without saying that she was not coming back to the mom, so the mom sat there waiting for her to come back.
