I don't know where to start. I accidentally found this place not knowing what it was. I purchased a cappuccino. I was a bit thrown off by the plastic lid and the fact that there were no recycling bins. This was a lot of plastic. The drinking spout was uncomfortably small. It took away from the experience of enjoying the cappuccino. I ended up taking two sips and throwing out the rest. Also, if this place employs foster kids, why not open these in urban areas? definitely disappointed in todays visit, the girl who took our order was very sweet and took our order correctly. unfortunately the barista with curly hair she/him gave me the worst customer service when i said they did my order wrong. i had order an iced matcha latte w/ banana cream top and they made it with espresso instead she did not review the ticket correctly as i proceeded to tell them the blonde girl was super nice until the she/him came forward with ugly attitude never have i dealt with someone who was so bothered t... read more
Good coffee and usually good food but the service just isn't the best. The chia pudding I received was partially open and had gone bad turning liquidy unfortunately spilling in my car before realizing. They did provide a new one however. Always feels like things are falling through the cracks when I come here because everyone is moving so quickly. I imagine they simply just don't have enough staff. At any location. Got two drinks for my GF and me and we ended up throwing them both away. I got a Matcha latte and it tasted too bitter even after sweetening it was off. GF got a latte and didn't enjoy it as well. Pretty disappointing. Great location in the commons but I wish the drinks were good.
ordered the lavender matcha and added an extra shot of matcha but it was the opposite of strong, there was a slight lavender taste but other than that it tasted like water. I also got the butterfly matcha which was a bit sweeter which was nice but the flavoring wasn't that enjoyable to me :( they did come with very cute heart straws though which i liked. I did order online so i didn't really experience any bad service :)
I counted 8 people in the back and front total. Everyone in the back was gossiping and so were the people up front. 2 people were on drinks and the place had a line out the door. They stopped to gossip mid drink making with tons of drinks on the counter. We waited over 20 minutes for our drinks when there was no one in front of us. I buy a latte from a local coffeeshop every day. La La Land recently opened up and I figured I'd give it a go (I went 4 times this last week). I really did enjoy the banana cream top latte, but I will not be returning because some (not all) of their baristas are just mean. I am happy to spend $7 on a latte and happy to add on a tip - truly. Went on a Saturday morning. I drink coffee and my other friend's drink tea. They have tea on the menu, and they had none. The ran out! Weird!!!Plus the guy took my order wrong on my coffee. Love the idea of this place but I will not be going again. It was very disappointing.
I was really disappointed with my recent visit to this café. I waited 25 minutes for a simple brewed coffee, only to find that the kitchen was closed, almond milk was unavailable, and the staff seemed disengaged and disorganized. This isn't the first time I've had issues here--orders are frequently incorrect despite being simple, and only one kind staff member handing out coffee ever takes the time to apologize.
