Good location, convenient to airport Pros: Location Cons: Cleanliness and better monitoring of pool area to enforce pool and hot tub hours. Location: Restaurant within walking distance Beetle type bug in bed and in bathroom. Noise outside room in hot tub/pool area twice during the night after hours was horrible. Not worth $70 per night, let alone over $400. Ugh!
terrible stay Pros: nothing Cons: everything especially customer service Our experience was one mess up after another. I had booked a non smoking room and was given a stinky smoking room. The attendant seemed not to know what to do, he then put us in a handicapped room without a proper shower! Terrible, I will never stay at a La Quinta hotel again.
Needs a good cleaning Pros: Nothing it was very disappointing. Cons: Needs a good cleaning top to bottom, halls, everywhere. Location: Dennys is next door, that's it. Windows were so dirty I could not see out of them, sheets smelled musty, hair on them. Service slow but eventually got what I needed after 1 1/2 hours and 3 phone calls. I would never go back Cons: CLEANLINESS The room obviously wasnt cleaned even though there was a sign saying that it was "clean and ready" for us. There was vomit in the corner of the room by the bed and the whole room had crumbs and stuff all over the floor like it hasnt been vacuumed in forever. The hallways outside the rooms were full of candy wrappers, muddy foot prints and other trash for the whole 2 days we were there like there was ZERO housekeeping staff...just a gross place... too bad because the pictures looked nic... read more
Dirty Pros: Not much. I booked this hotel on line and from reading the reviews thought I would be getting a clean motel. I was wrong. After a flight from the northwest I arrived late at night to a room that was dirty! I am the one who usually notices a not so great room. In this instance my husband who arrived before I noticed. Issues that need improvement. Elevator floors and walls dirty. Bathroom floors did not look particularly clean. (My brother speculated that perhaps the wrong floor cleaning agent being used on wood floors and causing them to be sticky?) Window lock broken in first floor room. Howling dogs. not impressed There were no diet cokes in the hotel so we had to drive to a convenience store in the morning. I have stayed at older La Quintas that seemed more well kept than this one.
Austin trip We reserved a non smoking room months in advance. When we arrived at the hotel they didn't have the room type we reserved and didnt offer any discounts or even an apology.
Disappointing. Pros: Very clean room and lobby, very comfortable room. Cons: Crappy accommodating for specifics and rude service trying to remove one group. It woke my girlfriend up and scared her. Location: Good Location but should try and knock some of the dividing islands down to provide able access to Dennys. La Quinta should seriously consider being like Holiday Inn and getting Dvd players for the rooms.
