Filty tub spoiled otherwise acceptable experience I spent one night at this La Quinta, and when I went to use the tub/shower I discovered that it was appallingly filthy ... there was some kind of mud smeared all over it, and there were several dead bugs in the tub including one enormous one (several inches across ... no exaggeration). I had to spend ~15 minutes cleaning it before I could use it.

Dirty Room When i arrived and was assigned a room I fouund that it had not been cleaned since the last guest. Bed not changed or made, bathrrom not cleaned, and the room was basically a mess. I went down to the desk and they gave me another room and it wqas adequate at best. Since it was nearly midnight I put up with it and left very early the next morning. I will never go to this hotel chain again. The desk would not give me a lower price for the second room considering the inconvience.

watch what you get We found this room through expedia.com. When trying to check in at 11:00, they asked us to come back at 3:00 We had plans and didn't check in until 10:30 p.m. We had confirmation for a king bed, no smoking. The room they gave us was smoking and 2 double beds and would not change us. It is hard to believe they were full. The room smelled of smoke.
