Never will I ever stay at a La Quinta hotel again. Pros: I got to leave the next morning. I liked leaving this hotel. Cons: A while lot of improvements are needed. Location: I really don't care to comment any further on this place. These are only my experiences/opinions. The hotel staff was not as receptive and polite as I have experienced in other brands of hotels. There were carpet cleaning blow dryers running all night long in the hallway and the hallway has a distinct smell of dog urine. I suspect something happened prio... read more

Hair, hair everywhere Room was very poorly cleaned. Not dusted, found hairs everywhere--in the bed, in the shower, etc. Did this room ever get cleaned? No water pressure whatsoever in the shower. And the fitness room was the worst I've ever seen. Some of the cardio machines didn't even turn on, and the machines that did were malfunctioning. All of the equipment was filthy and a lot of it was broken too. Couldn't even do a basic work-out. Springs coming out of mattress The bed mattress had the springs very visible and very uncomfortable. Issue with the AC, temperature incorrect. Was suppose to stay two nights but left the next day.

Under construction Pros: Room was OK. Cons: Staff Entire entrance blocked with construction materials. We had to park at another hotel and walk risking getting towed. Once walking around the side of the building, went to check in counter, which was set up in a hallway and then was charged again for the room even though we paid in advance through Expedia. Room was OK, but not worth the hassle. They should place a notice that the hotel is under construction.

basic room. Thin walls. Water shut off for 2 hours Pros: Close to the airport Cons: Everything. Location: We were not staying in Orlando. We arrived very late, 2 am, and since the lobby was under construction, there was a makeshift table in the hallway and we had to wait 10 min for them to process another guest. Disappointed Although the room was larger, which was nice, the rest of the experience was awful. Check in: walk to the front desk, there were 2 ladies behind the desk. One was helping another customer and the other was chatting. After a few minutes, the chatter stopped and the lady helped check me in. She gave me the key card then just disappeared. I wasn't sure if I was done or had to sign something or... Eventually I just walked away. The room: when I walked into the room, it smelled funny. Not clean, not dirty, just funny... read more

Fire Alarm would not stop! Everything was OK until the fire alarm went off at about 9 am and no one was able to turn the false alarm off. After waiting an hour with a very stressed and anxious kennelled pet, we checked out and left for the airport at least an hour early to get out of the noise. Our pet ended up being kennelled for an extra 2 hours for no good reason. Dirty Hotel with bugs!!! I told the front desk about the bugs, and all they could say was we are aware and I apologize. This was totally unacceptable and frankly disgusting!!!

AIRPORT SHUTTLE STOPS AT 11PM We were NOT told the airport shuttle stops at 11pm - and had to catch a taxi back to the hotel, even though we PAID for airport transportation. They seemed to not be to concerned with this issue. Will not stay here again.
