Swordfish was the special. Cooking of it was uneven. Thick piece was perfect; thinner piece was almost dry! Expected better.
I have enjoyed the chefs tasting menu 2 times now and both were the best meals of my life. I am not exaggerating when I say I drove 4 hours and spent the night in Reno just to eat here again. If you eat anywhere in your lifetime eat here you will not regret it. Words cannot describe how good the food is, you have to taste it. La Strada is a wonderful restaurant for a special occasion, romance or just an evening out. The chef is tremendous. There is a dinner in which the chef makes surprises for the guests. The whole dinner is a surprise. There is a minimum requirement of two. My husband and I have been very pleased with everything about La Strada. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
This is top rated restaurant and it is richly deserved.
Steak was good, I did not enjoy the seafood risotto. Desert was amazing.
Whenever we make to Reno, NV. We eat at La Strada. We love the food and the service. This time we tried a new dish consisting of a thin breaded pork chop with an accompaning arugala and cherry tomato salad. We also had canolia with a bit of pistachios in the filling. The atmosphere is relaxing and the ambiance is very nice. We always ask for the same Server, Chris, whose service is superb.
La strada is wonderful. The food was excellent and our waiter was very good, and attentive. The linguine with clams was to die for! The pasta was perfect, the clams were tender and flavorful. This is our special occassion "go to" restaurant. Not to be missed.
This was the 3rd year my friends from out of town have come and shared a meal with me at La Strada. The food has in each instance been superior in quality and presentation. The service has been excellent, attentive without hovering.At times the noise level is a bit high.
Took our neice to La Strada to celebrate her 21st birthday. Good food and great service. We will go back.
