Such a letdown! The scallop risotto was bland, we sent it back and ordered the prawn allá vodka instead which was mid. Carbonara was just ok. Prawn appetizer also bland, the white bean puree it’s served on does not go well with the rest of the dish and barely any prosciutto. Ambiance was good and our server Christopher was great. We won’t be back though - didn’t justify the price.

This is my second meal here. The first time I got overcooked pasta. I thought I’d give them another try. Again the food was mediocre. Olive Garden is better) I ordered a $31 glass of wine when I first sat down and it didn’t arrive until minutes before my dinner. The Brunello di Montalcino Madonna delle Grazie 2019 – Il Marroneto was wonderful, I wish I could have savored it while waiting for my meal. Instead I wound up finishing the second half of the glass just so I could get out of this place.

Food was terrible - Risotto was not a good taste with too much balsamic vinegar drip, chicken Alfredo looked like it has been sitting under the heat lamp forever and the chicken was rock hard, the veal Parmesan was undercooked and still pink. I was very excited to try this restaurant. We come to Reno often but have never been here. The chicken was thin and very over cooked and small. The Alfredo sauce was not tasty at all and the noodles were stuck together like they were old. The ravioli meat was very dry. The ravioli itself was okay maybe a 4 out of 5. Honestly I do not feel like it was a good meal at all and am very disappointed. I would like to try it again but I am not sure if I would like to pay for it again. Thank you Julie Geer. Unfortunate experience. 7:00PM Friday reservation. Arrived on time, were appropriately seated, and introduced to wait staff. Requested a brief moment to review menu and wine options before ordering. Waiter then turned their back to our table, never looked back, and spent the next 15-20 minutes talking to party at nearby table. Needed to request busboy to get waiter's attention. Order then taken. My family and I were excited for a non traditional Thanksgiving dinner and selected La Strada based on previous experiences. This was a far cry from that. We had reservations and waited an additional 30 minutes. The service was very slow, however our waitress was very friendly and attentive while she was table side. Sadly, this restaurant has really gone downhill. Used to be so good. Food was tasteless and presentation was poor. Will not go again.

Three of the four meal were excellent. For the first time in many times dining there my entree of seafood linguine was awful. Tons of pasta and very little seafood.
